Drove over four hours to purchase a 2020 Telluride , agreed on price but when I informed them I would be financing through PenFed credit union they claimed PenFed wouldn’t finance a repurchase manufactu agreed on price but when I informed them I would be financing through PenFed credit union they claimed PenFed wouldn’t finance a repurchase manufactured buyback but they could obtain financing for us I informed them we already gave PenFed the vehicle identification number and the loan was approved. They still insisted that PenFed wouldn’t and instructed us to go pickup the check. When we returned with the check for payment they refused to except the check for payments, still claiming PenFed won’t finance the car even though he had checked issued by them My daughter wanted the car so I had to put the $27,500 on a credit card which they charged me a three percent merchant fee that the card company charges , that amounted to an additional $825 How did this dealer receive all the Dealer Rater awards showing on their website ?? More

Edward, Amy explained to you that Penfed does not offer the financing you were looking for on manufacturer buyback vehicles. She explained this at length to you by phone the day before you visited our dealership. Unfortunately, you refused to take our word for it, and apparently still don't. I would strongly suggest you contact Penfed directly, as they will confirm the information we provided you is correct. I think it's important to remember that it makes no difference to us how you, or any customer pays for their vehicle. There was no benefit to you using a credit card, which was accepted as a courtesy. The merchant fee is paid to the processor, so there was no benefit to us. Unfortunately you don’t have all the facts , I was informed by Amy that. PenFed wouldn’t finance the Telluride, what I wasn’t told is that you would refuse to except a check from PenFed for payment but your saying you could care less where the check comes from After agreeing to purchase we again where informed that only your dealership or USAA would finance the car , I called PenFed gave them the vehicle identification number and the loan WAS APPROVED I questioned them on the title be a manufacturer repurchase and was told the loan is APPROVED. I informed your representative that the loan was APPROVED and was told to go get the check then Here’s the problem if Amy or Anthony had told us that you wouldn’t except the check made out to Automotive Avenues LLC and my daughters for payment I wouldn’t needed the dealerships courtesy of using my credit card and paying your merchant fees These are the facts

Nick left you a message on 4/25, but then hid not hear back from you until 5/2. While it's rare that a price will actually go up, it does happen every once in a while when market conditions dictate. Kyle, I apologize. I usually am not involved in these situations. I will tell you it's very rare that one of our prices increase. We do lower prices daily, but every now and then we uncover a vehicle that was priced too far below market. That's what happened in this case. I just took a look at it and average wholesale shows to be $35,600. I am lowering it to $32,995. If you're interested, I would take an additional $500 off that price to make it $32,495. Please let me know if you'd be interested at that price. Thank you.

Bill, I appreciate you reaching out to me as this process has been frustrating. For you to better understand what's going on, correct, I started my communication on 4/17 and sent inquiries via email until 4/19, when I asked Nick to give me a call that Monday. Yes, I forgot to provide my phone number but he never reached out to ask for it and I had to follow up on 4/22 about giving me a call. He responded to a question I had on that email but never asked about my phone number, nor tried giving me a call. I gave him my number on 4/24 and he did try calling on 4/28 which I missed due to a work call. I gave him a call back on 4/30 and left a message. Instead of giving me a call right back, he emailed me and said to call him which I didn't see until late in the evening. I asked on 5/3 for him to give me a call Monday and again didn't hear anything and sent another email on 5/6 and 5/8 to give me a call. I finally heard today (5/9) from him to which my experience both on and off the phone was disappointing.

Brought back my purchased Range over after 2 years and no problem. My husband and I were introduced to an amazing rep. Glenn Jones. Thorough, honest, knowledgeable , friendly, and best of all patient. He reviewed everything with us and broke down CarFax. I found a few issues with the vehicle, of course never a problem Glenn let the management know and off to fix it they went without any issues haggling whatsoever !! Smooth as always transaction!
