Outstanding service from everyone I literally could not be more pleased with my service from crown Mercedes Benz. Not only was my sales consultant Douglas Horner the best salesman he was extremely dapper, and handsome. I wasn't sure what vehicle I wanted but let me tell you he pointed me in the right direction with a new c class. The staff was so friendly and energetic. Even the older gentlemen Stephen made an effort to come over and say hello.. Talk about embracing gen y!! Bless his heart. I appreciate the concern the management staff had for me as well. Tom and John went out of their ways to make sure I had the perfect experience. This was just the beginning.... Marc wigler the president and CEO of crown motor company personally came down and shook my hand. Talk about the royal treatment!!! I was so honored to have met such a pretigous member in our community. I felt like Jewell the pop sensation from living in my car to a certified rock star! The paperwork process... Craig, my finance manager made the process simple and easy. I was in and out in 10 minutes. He was kind, patient, and most of all respectful of me as a young man. As I turned the corner to receive my new car the entire crown staff was cheering and applauding my as I stepped into my brand new vehicle!!! Thank you crown it made me feel like a million dollars!!! My experience in the past has given me a poor impression of dealerships and the sharks that that linger in the kill zone hoping for a morsel. Adding to that attitude, my mechanical skills are limited to the of dealerships and the sharks that that linger in the kill zone hoping for a morsel. Adding to that attitude, my mechanical skills are limited to the ignition apparatus, and gas fill. I am a transplant from NC and my car then was a MB 240D with 278000 mi. The drive to work was long and I decided to come out of the Stone Age although that car is my favorite style of MB. I blundered into Crown in Dublin years ago and knowing more or less what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. With the above attitudes regarding sales staff and dealerships in general and true to the word I found much of that during my car search but having said that Crown is one of two dealerships I have ever purchased cars from. My first experience at Crown was incredibly comfortable, no vacuum cleaner sales approach or the famous approach, “What’s it gonna take to put you in that car today”. I have my personal opinions regarding that thought. Anyway at this point in my life hitchhiking is out so having thoughts about what we were looking for in a car, my wife and I spoke with Ronan, a sale rep at that time. The cars he steered us to were within our budget and frankly more car than I expected with numerous choices. Kind of wide eyed experience coming from the 1982 240d to a 1999 E430, that was the first of six or so cars, most certified. Going through the hoops of buying and servicing our cars at Crown we met pleasant professional people a t every turn, as it is now. This most recent purchase was this past Saturday. Tom Sands and Glenn Gilbert worked with me regarding my latest CLK. I know they had months in souring the country side looking for a specific car and having patience with me. This car came to the surface and Glenn and Tom decided this car fit my bill and today life is good. All of this is due to trust. I trust the people with whom I deal with at Crown; I always have been treated more than fair and once again more car than I expected. Tom Sands and Glenn searched, discovering the car, Craig Brooks was our guide through the financial mine field, with Todd Johnson making sure at all is well with the health of my car. The folks that meet you in the morning, nothing but elegant, I see Todd Johnson as the guide though all the mechanicals bits which as mentioned that was not one of my gifts but Todd is. I am retired military, a grunt by preference with certain exceptions of trust, competence and a direct attitude, doesn’t seem like much to ask. All of these professionals from Crown have not disappointed me, I don’t mean to imply that every day is a holiday but when those issues happened Crown solved the issue aggressively. When you drive into the drop off point at Crown an elegant gentleman steps out to greet you and guide you to the appropriate person for your service, at the same time Bob asks about my family and shar elegant gentleman steps out to greet you and guide you to the appropriate person for your service, at the same time Bob asks about my family and shares a bit of humor. Bob is always a pleasure. Todd is the person I prefer and he treats me better than wonderful. Todd has a great sense of humor with an absolutely professional attitude. I, being somewhat of a brick regarding mechanics have to feel confident and comfortable with people who work on my cars. Todd is all that for me, he ensures the work is done, normally by Ron the God of mechanics, another outstanding professional and done as I can afford it. Although over the years of dealing with Crown and five cars the expense has never been scary. During this visit I spoke with Tom Sands regarding my next car which for me will be another Benz. We discussed my car and my expectations for the next four wheel adventure, hopefully the beautiful E coupe. As I mentioned above, confidence for me is an absolute necessity, nothing can run me away from a dealership faster than the “WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO PUT YOU IN THE CAR TODAY” Attitude, vacuum cleaner salesmen are the Bain of sales people, especially cars, and more so in fine cars. Tom the car manger, Glenn in sales and Crag of finance is the best. Pleasant, straight forward with no xx, they offer confidence, outstanding advice and I never feel as though they are pushing me into something I do not want to afford . My Wife and I have purchased five cars from Crown MB over the past years , our experience with the sales department with Glenn Gilbert, the financial department with Greg Brooks and the service department wi the past years , our experience with the sales department with Glenn Gilbert, the financial department with Greg Brooks and the service department with Todd Johnson and Ron Shook has been outstanding. We have been treated as though we purchased the most expensive car on the lot. We call Todd or Ron for a service appointment, the same expert Ron always works on our cars and all three provide a delightfully professional and personal service. When we are looking for a replacement Mercedes Benz we see Glenn Gilbert. He finds the type of car which fits us, at the price we want to afford then Greg Brooks guides us down the path that fit us. I always hated the used car salesman with the “what’s it going to take to put you in a car today attitude” with the service departments that had little time to be polite and personal, I refused to spend my money at these dealerships. Buying from Crown MB has been a pleasant experience with trustworthy and competent professionals. I have never been coerced to buy a car or overextend myself with service. The sales, service and finance departments have always been helpful, guiding me through the purchase of five Mercedes Benz vehicles and an outstanding adventure as well as friends made.
