This is my second car from Lucas Subaru. It will not be the last time I purchase a car there because of the quality of the service and friendliness of the whole staff. The cars are amazing. But your purchase experience can be different from place to place. Not here. Always helpful and on point More

Brought our 2020 Subaru Outback to Lucas for the 24K service that we prepaid along with the 8 year, no deductible gold added security warranty, both from Subaru. We had previously brought the car to service that we prepaid along with the 8 year, no deductible gold added security warranty, both from Subaru. We had previously brought the car to Lucas for the 6K, 12K and 18K service, all under the prepaid maintenance also. They call saying they 'recommend' a cabin air filter, engine air filter and throttle body service. It took a total of about 45 minutes to get them / Subaru to see that we had the maintenance agreement and 1 of the filters was covered in the 24K service. The other filter would be replaced at 30K. At that point, I needed to get back to work, I OK'd the throttle body service. Foolish me, I thought they'd treat us right. Turns out from calls to other dealerships and forums on the web - a throttle body service might be needed at >80K miles and we'd have had poor performance from the car (again, the car has 24K miles and no performance issues). It only sees highway driving in the NorthEast. Subaru doesn't even list it as part of their scheduled maintenance. This dealer 'recommends' it... for the car's needs? Or their bottom line? So it is just an upsell we fell for. Shame on us - but you can be warned. We thought they were above that. But we were wrong. That's the 3rd straw for the camel's back. The other 2: 1) They damaged the car pulling it out of the service bay on the 12K service. Fixed it up and gave us a loaner. We DID keep going to them after that. 2) Trying to build a relationship with the dealership / wanting to be sure the car gets taken car of the correct way, with OEM parts, we had them replace the windshield when it cracked. They then had it for about 6 weeks trying to find a leak that started after they replaced the glass. They gave us a loaner car and it was during covid. And we kept going back to them. But this upsell and time lost just trying to have them see we have the maintenance agreement and what is covered is now having us question the overall quality / ethics of the dealership's service department. And an email about this to the owners has gone unanswered. What's to say? They got caught and lost a customer. More
