Use caution and thoroughly check your vehicle especially any customizations. I’ve had a repeat issue with service department. They have taken or damaged my center caps from my 23 MDX Type S twice. On any customizations. I’ve had a repeat issue with service department. They have taken or damaged my center caps from my 23 MDX Type S twice. On the recent visit they removed the Acura emblem on one and removed and replaced with another cap from another vehicle (grey). My center caps were custom painted Satin Black to match wheels. My guess is someone liked them. They have previously replaced them the first time this happened and on this recent issue have not responded. Included pictures to show Center Cap as I brought the vehicle in and then the swap and removed emblem when I got it back. This in addition to me not being made aware that technicians refused to rotate my tires stating that they don’t touch them because they are “painted”. I am now out of pocket for a tire rotation and having replacement Center Caps painted. Adding to list of problems: Deep scratch on rear passenger side molding. Attempted to fix with touch up paint. I was not told or made aware. Emails sent to Service Manager and General Manager with no response. Acura has been notified. Update: response received My emblem may have fell off while driving. I’m guessing one must’ve also changed color while driving. Current list of expenses from my last service at Criswell Acura: - Tire rotation - New Center Caps being ordered and painted - attempted repair on a deep scratch in my rear passenger side modeling that touch up paint was applied) same side that had the missing emblem from my center caps. Repair did not work. Did receive a call back from Steve Savage GM that was a voicemail. Returned call and waiting to hear back. Update: 12/18 - GM Steve Savage left me a voicemail offered to reimburse me and to work to build trust back. Texted to confirm what he meant by reimbursement and how he planned to address the warranty requests that had no action. 12/19- GM Steve Savage in a voicemail now stating “that is a lot to happen in 3 hours” and “he doesn’t think trust can be rebuilt”. “Try another dealership and hopefully they can meet your needs because we obviously couldn’t”. “We are closing the case and moving on”. Looks like I’ll continue to work with Acura directly since this dealership’s leadership is refusing to provide Customer Service. More

We were treated wonderfully and got a great lease deal on a brand new MDX. The owner, George Criswell, is a great guy, runs a great business, and hires great people. Mr. Criswell has an extraordinary team working at his Annapolis Acura dealership. The customer service we received was second to none. We worked with Vance Ellis and Alan Hannon, and Jerry Todd for financing. Each of these gentlemen were knowledgeable and so helpful. Never at any point did I feel like they were trying to make us buy a car. Instead, it seemed like they really wanted to help us make the right decision for our family. Even though we were at a high-end Audi and Acura dealership, and we were looking to purchase a used car for our family, rather than a luxury automobile, they treated us like we were VIP's. I highly recommend Criswell dealership. Seek out the advice and services of Vance, Alan and Jerry.....though I suspect all of the employees at Criswell are extraordinarily professional. We keep going back there because they provide tremendous service and at the end of the sales experience we feel treated fairly and that we ended up with a "win-win" deal. This time, Alan Hannon was welcoming and friendly and accommodated all our needs. He helped us choose a beautiful 2014 TL w/Tech which had been used as a loaner. The mileage was very low and the price was tremendous based upon our pre-purchase internet research. Alan also rewarded us well for our loyalty over the years during our discussion of price. Vance Ellis made it easy to put all the preliminary paperwork together, went with us for a great test drive and helped us understand all of the intricate technical aspects of our new car. It was like spending time with an old friend. Then, while we were waiting to finalize the paperwork, George Criswell came down and personally thanked us for our loyalty over the years. He really made us feel like part of the Criswell family. My wife and I can't imagine a better car buying experience and recommend Criswell Acura to anyone thinking about a pre-owned or new Acura. The best dealership experience ever! No hard pitches, no playing with the numbers, no hassles, none, not one. The staff was very courteous and professional. My trade in was priced fairly and the sales price on the car I purchased was very competitive from the beginning. I was grateful we did not have to go back and forth and back and forth. One deal, fairly priced, done! I will definitely buy from Criswell again. I wrote that when I bought the car. Now 2 months later, the car is dead. I drove 1,221 miles and 61 days. The timing chain is broken and the engine must be replaced with a remanufactured. I am so disappointed in the entire event. I am 989 miles over the Honda powertrain warranty and 221 miles over the Criswell warranty. I must now rely on the extended warranty. I asked Criswell for a "do- over". They told me my car was worthless now. They did offer me a loaner while my engine is replaced in their shop, but the GM Mike O'Neill doesn't want to "diddle daddle" with me over this issue while I have his loaner car. DIDDLE DADDLE! His exact words. Boy do I wish I could talk to Mr. Criswell about this. Ive left messages. More

I had the opportunity to test drive a friends TSX and loved how it handle and all the amities that came with it. So she started talking about me going to the dealership in Annapolis to speak with the Pre loved how it handle and all the amities that came with it. So she started talking about me going to the dealership in Annapolis to speak with the Pre Owned Sale Manger Alan Hannon who was very helpfull from there he suggested that Kevin Cramer take me out for a test drive in a 2012 TSX, the car handel very nicely, he was very knowledgable and from there the paper work was started and was hassel free. John Doherty in finance was very clear on all the warranties that can with the car and also offered up a nice package so now me and my family can ride safely without any worries.Meeting the owner himself George Criswell was nice it started with a hand shake. Then George showed me around the facility and made sure to say give them a call if ever needed. I have done that and Alan, an Kevin were right there to help with Nav Tech Package. This was the 6th car we have bought from Criswell, 4 being preowned. Each time we have had nothing but a positive experience. After working with Alan Hannon for about 4 months to find a used TSX for our son, we finally found the perfect car for him! Alan and Stefano roll out the red carpet every time. Dawn is efficient with paperwork and everyone always has a smile! Stefano Rinaldi took the extra time to walk through the features of the car and made sure my son knew how everything worked. Buying a car can be a stressful event, but working with everyone at Criswell has never been anything short of pleasant! Thanks for a wonderful experience again! More
