They don’t deserve a single star. Sold me a car that was unsafe to drive. Took to another dealership for inspection after notifying South Bay Lexus that the car was leaking puddle Sold me a car that was unsafe to drive. Took to another dealership for inspection after notifying South Bay Lexus that the car was leaking puddles of oil and was not shifting without jerking, they said to bring it in to have a look. I didn't feel safe driving it, took it to independent mechanic was told give it back, took it to another dealership for inspection, found cracked dog bone engine mount, blown head gaskets, strut issues, and unknown transmission issues, I didn't want to pay an additional 200 for further diagnostics. South Bay Lexus in Torrance agreed to reverse the deal but have yet to return my down payment or cancel my loan, with the first payment already posted. I am paying for a car I do not have that I left as instructed by South Bay with Carlsbad Lexus where the inspections were done after purchasing. I had to take a train and lyft rides to sign paperwork over 80 miles away to retrieve the car I traded, but still not fulfilled what we agreed on. I called Lexus financial to confirm, the loan is till active. Called brand engagement and was given a case number but nothing has resulted. Amazing service with George Chen I recently had the opportunity to drop my car off with George Chen at South Bay Lexus and he was very courteous and attentive to what I was describing I recently had the opportunity to drop my car off with George Chen at South Bay Lexus and he was very courteous and attentive to what I was describing. There was a slight mishap with my car (to no fault of the dealer) but George and his team came to the rescue made sure the car came out good as new. They made a stressful situation very easy and effortless on my part. George was great to work with and constantly gave me updates. The text system they have is also very convenient.
