We had already decided on what vehicle, trim, and color we wanted prior to making an appointment with Garrett Oxnaes at Mazda of Elk Grove. Garrett had our car ready to go and took us on a very thorough test drive where he thoroughly explained all the features of the vehicle, including stopping in a parking lot to showcase the different cameras and how the vehicle reacts to incoming objects. It was clear that he not only had extensive knowledge about the specific vehicle, but also had established routes to best illustrate functionality and show us how to use the features of the vehicle. I was really impressed by his industry knowledge (he's been with the dealership for 13 years). He also was really easy to talk with and I felt like his responses were straightforward and on the level. When we were undecided about whether to lease or buy, Garrett went over the monthly payments and pros/cons for both very professionally and gave us plenty of space to discuss and decide on our own. Car buying is always kind of stressful, but I came out of this experience feeling like we understood the features of the vehicle we were purchasing, we got a good deal, and felt confident about the decisions we made.
