We went in for an oil change only. We had over $1000. recommendations made even though Subaru in general doesn’t make some of these recommendations until 60,000. We don't drive the car very often anymore, because our Outback is very uncomfortable for driver & passenger. Some of the recommendations were to replace 2 tires. Again, Subaru in general states that you should replace all 4 or at least make sure they all have the same tread. We don't plan on buying our tires from Subaru. We can get very good tires recommended for Subaru from Costco or other places much cheaper. Also, the price to change air filters, etc. -all way too high. When I asked about the other fees attached to our oil change, I was told part of it was to pay for Car Max service. We don't e even want that. Why do we have to pay for something we don't want? Sounds like this Subaru company is very liberal in their thinking. By the way, what shop supplies do you use to charge a fee for, for an oil change? Too many employees just walking around or talking. 😞 Why do we drive over a wheel alignment check machine & you don't even mention it on our report? More

Garrett was very straightforward and explained everything well. I was given a loaner car and didn’t have to wait while work was being done, which made it much nicer and time efficient.
