So I saw this 2015 Camaro on Cars. com and asked if the car was available the salesman got right back to me and said yes it was available. I checked the Carfax on it and saw the car was com and asked if the car was available the salesman got right back to me and said yes it was available. I checked the Carfax on it and saw the car was well-maintained. So then I thought well I’ll try to get this car, but I was worried about financing and I told the salesman that, he said don’t worry about it. We work with a lot of bank and we can get you financed. I go OK well I live in Bakersfield so I don’t wanna drive all the way to Clovis just to find out that you can’t get finance goes no problem Mr. Hernandez will get you preapproved , so this went on a week I’m trying to get me preapproved and every time I talked to the guy I got a different salesman every time I talk to salesman the price sent me a screenshot of the breakdown of what I was being charged and they had an additional $3000 For windshield conditioner and interior protection and I told the salesman I didn’t ask for that and he says well it was put on the car before we put it on the lot for sale. I don’t care. I didn’t ask for that. Take it off then he try to say he took it off the price more And now they’re saying I have to pay 72 months so long story short after a week of calling him and texting him we couldn’t make a deal. I found out they ran my credit score 14 times which brought my credit score down so now I’m gonna have to wait until some of that falls off my Credit report so I can try to purchase a vehicle because Nissan of Clovis was greedy I’ll never do business with them again More

All I can say is this dealership is a mess. Unorganized and lacks communication. Side note- I was setting up this deal for purchase for my husband whom works in the military as an emergency state active duty official… I tried to make this as easy and painless for him as possible. I spent 2 days speaking with Sandy from internet Sales, as well as “her manager, Carlos Garcia”. We set the whole deal up. Rate, down payment, payment. Following day I went in per request of them; had an appt for 9am. I didn’t see any of them. Juan Vazquez and Gabriel assisted. I asked to view the contract to make sure everything we agreed upon was on paper and ready to go. That way my husband could just come in and sign. WELL - painful is an understatement. I submitted a power of attorney, so that I can have access to any and everything. (Kinda have to as a military spouse). They stated it had no merit . WRONG. Not only did he have to come in after work, but nothing was ready. They kept giving him different rates, numbers, different prices to add ons they wanted to keep adding. NOTHING we had already discussed. Finally- he blew up asked his “finance guy- Abraham” for what was agreed upon originally with me. He bought the car 3 hours later. Car service light goes off, he has an appt for a week later to bring it to get it fixed. While at service he’s approached by someone else, “Juan Perez” supposedly taking over for Abraham. They need his pay stubs as Abraham was “let go” and they were unable to collect the docs my husband sent over to his original finance guy. My husband obliged and submitted what was asked. 14 DAYS LATER I get a call from Derek Jones stating his taking over the file and he and the bank need clarification on the layout of my husband stubs. I call back 4x that day and never heard back from Derek Jones again. I call reception, talk to Sandy, and she forwards me to Juan Perez. He states “everything is good to go” waiting on the bank to ok the stubs due to the uncommon nature of their layout, and that he call me back tomorrow. Never get a call. Another 6 days later I call. Brenda- forwards me to Abrahams line( which is odd because he no longer works there). I hang up call back, but she repeatedly put my call in the holding Que. i called 8x and got no answer. It’s now almost 5 weeks and the car we purchased is NOT funded. And we were never notified to begin with. At this point I don’t recommend this dealership to anyone. Poor customer service, poor communication, attempts to over charge my husband after an agreed upon deal/quote. This is infuriating. Side note- my husband still has the car…. It just belongs to dealership still and it’s been 28 days since he signed contract. More

I purchased 2020 Ford Mustang from Lithia Nissan of Clovis on 3rd July, 2023. On the 4th, I took a test driving trip to San Francisco Bay Area and visited my friend's home in Fremont. I parked the car Clovis on 3rd July, 2023. On the 4th, I took a test driving trip to San Francisco Bay Area and visited my friend's home in Fremont. I parked the car at my friend's home. When I tried to leave my friend's home, I couldn't swift P to R or D and couldn't get out of parking. The swifter doesn't work at all. I called Gabriel Vazquez, the sale representative of Lithia Nissan of Clovis. We talked on FaceTime and I showed him the issue of the gear. I had to open the cover of the gear and had to use a screw driver to push something inside the swifter so that I could get the car out of parking and start to drive. On the 5th of July, 2023, I delivered the vehicle to the service center at Lithia Nissan of Clovis. Derek Lanas, the service advisor, said some parts of the gear system need to be replaced. They have to order that parts and I had to wait until 21st of July, 2023. I visited the service center on 20th July to know any updates about the vehicle. Derek told me the whole gear had been replaced with a new one. But, the vehicle is still having the same problem and they have to send the vehicle to Lithia Ford to fix this issue (the swifter problem). On 22nd July, 2023 I called Derek and asked for any updates about the issue. He said there was no update. He responded to me irresponsibly. At least, he should have called the mechanic from Lithia Ford and asked for updates. I visited the service center again on 25th July, 2023 and asked Derek for any update about the vehicle. He said Lithia Ford is still trying to fix the issue. So, I have to wait. I asked "How long do I have to wait as it has been for three weeks since I delivered the vehicle to them on the 5th?" Derek said "We can do nothing?" I told him the contract needs to be cancelled if they can't complete repairing the vehicle on 4th August, 2023. They have professional mechanics and that's their job to tell me what's going on with this vehicle (Ford Mustang). I have to make the first monthly payment on 17th August according to the contract. But, I car is still in their hands. The interest is accumulating each day from the date of purchase. I don't know how long they'll take until they have fixed this issue. On the other sides, I'm now talking to my legal team to take this issue to the court if Lithia Nissan of Clovis can't complete the repairing of this Ford Mustang on 4th August, 2023. If I cancel the contract, they'll deduct the cancellation fee from the down payment I made on the day of purchase of this vehicle. So, I won't cancel the contract. I'll make them cancel the contract and refund me full amount of the down payment I made + the cost of gas I had to spend to commute from home to their office + all the times I have to spend to visit their service center in person as I do not get any phone call to know the last updates of my vehicle. That's a horrendous experience dealing with Lithia Nissan of Clovis. My first experience with them is the worst experience. I don't want more people to be victims like me. So, stay away from this dealer. It has been almost one month since my car is in their hands. They haven't contacted me and told me any updates. That really sucks! More

When I was n the process of purchasing, I told salesman what I could afford, and they wanted me to pay a little more for the payment. I didn’t want to, but was told that they would thro in an extended warranty for 3 years. Well, since I purchased my vehicle, I’ve had it in twice. Lithia covered for the first repair. But, last week, I took car in to have some issues checked out. They told me that all the repairs it needed weren’t covered under my warranty. Come to find out, I DO NOT have an extended warranty, I have a powertrain warranty. So, of course the repairs weren’t covered. They did repair ac drain plug at no charge, but the rest of the repairs totaling about a $1000. I feel like they baited and switched me! I’m really disappointed in Lithia Nissan of Clovis. I don’t recommend them. I feel they are dishonest! More
