I write this review after being told several times I would receive a check for $300 to compensate me for part of the deal we made that did not materialize. Francisco "Cisco" Rangel was the salesman. would receive a check for $300 to compensate me for part of the deal we made that did not materialize. Francisco "Cisco" Rangel was the salesman. It has been over a month and still no compensation which was promised. This is a synopsis of my experience with Hawk Chrysler: I located two vans on their website and contacted the dealership. I told the salesman I was traveling about an hour and a half to view two vans on their website. I told him the day and approximate time I would arrive. I arrived as stated and was told one of the vans was sold the night before. The remaining van had NOT been washed or detailed. I drove it and pointed out some scratches, etc. that needed attention. Cisco told me he would have the van detailed inside and outside. I told him I would be back to finalize the deal. Two days later, I arrived and the van had been washed but none of the scratches were addressed. The inside was cleaned to my satisfaction. I wasn't going to keep driving back and forth, so we agreed on a price contingent upon a concern being addressed. I waited for more than an hour sitting by myself in the showroom. I then was pressured into signing all of the purchase paperwork with the finance manager, even though I did not see the work completed that was part of the deal. Cisco returned and told me the mechanics could not complete the change that was part of the deal. I had already paid for the van and told Cisco I was NOT happy as the work was part of the agreement, a $500.00 agreement. Cisco seemed uninterested and left. I got into the van only to find out there was LESS than an eight of a tank of gas. I left the dealership and drove about 5 miles when the low fuel warning came on. I had to fill up at the next available gas station. I contacted Cisco and we discussed the $500 difference. He said he would talk with his manager. The next day he offered me $300 and said a check would be mailed to me. I accepted his offer and confirmed via an email. I still have not received the check and have contacted Cisco several times. I received the same answer, the check is in the mail. It has been a month and no check. Needless to say, I can not recommend this dealership nor Cisco Rangel without reservation. I'm an Army veteran and retired Law Enforcement Officer. I hope going forward Cisco and the anyone else at the dealership treat other customers better than I was treated. Robert S. More
