However, after not hearing back by 3 PM, I reached out to the service rep and learned that my vehicle wouldn’t be ready until the next day. I believe improving communication during such visits could enhance the customer experience. Even with the follow up SMS messages and emails from the dealership after the service, the lack of timely updates during my appointment was a bit challenging for me. I had to make arrangements last minute for transportation home and for getting back to work the next day due to this. On a positive note, the lady I spoke with when dropping off my vehicle was very pleasant and polite. I just hope that communication from the service technicians can be improved in the future.

Clear communication is extremely important to us, and we understand how frustrating it can be to make last-minute transportation arrangements when expectations change.
This particular recall requires several hours to complete and, due to the current volume of major powertrain repairs in our shop, the technician assigned was unable to begin work until the following day. While delays can occasionally happen, we should have communicated that more clearly and sooner. Had we been aware of the change in timing earlier, we would have gladly worked with you to arrange alternate transportation overnight.
Your feedback has been shared with our team as a reminder of how important proactive communication is throughout the service process. We’re sorry to hear that you left feeling this way, as providing respectful and professional service is always our goal. Your vehicle was brought in for water-leak diagnostics, and while there was an initial delay due to technician availability, our team worked to complete the inspection the following day so you could have your vehicle back in time for your scheduled travel.
After a thorough evaluation, no mechanical water leak was found, and it was determined the moisture occurred after the rear hatch had been opened during heavy rain. Because diagnostic time was still required to properly inspect the vehicle, a charge was discussed; however, in an effort to show goodwill and help resolve the situation, a portion of that fee was ultimately waived.
We never want anyone to feel unheard or uncomfortable during their visit. If you would be willing, please reach out to Scott Nixon, Service Manager, so we can personally review your experience and continue working toward a better outcome.
