I have done a lot of business with John Thornton Chevrolet from service on my vehicles to purchasing them. Every time I have gotten phenomenal service, which is why I choose to return Ernesto was am Chevrolet from service on my vehicles to purchasing them. Sneaky. I was assured I would pay MSRP and nothing additional. Then charged $1500 extra. I purchased while I was on the road for work so it would be ready wh I was assured I would pay MSRP and nothing additional. Then charged $1500 extra. I purchased while I was on the road for work so it would be ready when I returned. I’d been waiting months for it to arrive from the manufacturer and paid down payment based on assurances from the sales person. Then when I got to my laptop at the hotel, discovered the additional charges for theft and supposed paint protection. Then when I get home with the truck the next day, I discovered scratched caused by the dealership’s poor washing of the vehicle. It’d been sitting outside (pictures) so it had dust and pollen on it. Then not properly rinsed before washing and scrubbed debris into the black paint. There was also a deep scratch likely from transport. I paid out of pocket to fix the paint but it could only get 90% fixed due to the deep scratch. I tried to have the paint along with a broken infotainment center immediately fixed at John Thornton as well as Rick Hendrick (which was close by). Neither dealership would cover it or provide a vehicle to me for the days needed to fix the infotainment center. So I had to take it outside GM to get the paint fixed and to Jim Ellis GMC to get the screen replaced. No one from John Thornton would call me back after numerous calls for months. Neither service, nor sales managers would answer or ever respond. More
