Avoid This Dealership for Service! Do yourself a favor—take your car somewhere else for service. My experience with Eric from the service department was beyond frustrating. He never Do yourself a favor—take your car somewhere else for service. My experience with Eric from the service department was beyond frustrating. He never answers the phone or returns calls. When we finally got in touch, he said diagnosing the codes would take about 45 minutes and that he’d let us know if my husband could get a loaner. Four hours later, my husband gets the car back—and the codes are still there. This is a car with less than 6,000 miles on it! This isn’t the first time, either. Previously, they “cleared” a code, and we had to return because the issue wasn’t actually fixed. I gave them another chance, thinking it was a one-time mistake. This time, when my husband went back, Eric was “too busy” to fix their mistake or give him a loaner—even though he knew my husband had to pick up our daughter from school all the way in Loxahatchee. I called the service manager Rick Presley - of course, he was “in a meeting.” I left a message saying if I didn’t hear back, I’d escalate it to corporate. Never heard from him. They care if you give them a good survey score, but they don’t care enough to call back after screwing up twice. Unacceptable service. More

Today I leased a new Volvo XC60 from Schumacher Volvo. I had the pleasure of meeting Karl Ahlers my salesman and he was great very knowledgeable and a no pressure which I appreciate. Have attempted to purchase a vehicle from this dealership numerous times. The Sales-person (Elliott) was great. However, the Sales Manager was not. Twice we have reached an agreement on a vehicle only to numerous times. The Sales-person (Elliott) was great. However, the Sales Manager was not. Twice we have reached an agreement on a vehicle only to have the Sales Manager change the terms in their favor AFTER agreed upon terms. The first time, I took our agreed deal to another Volvo dealer who immediately honored it. I subsequently purchased 3 more Volvo's from them. Service & Sales people at Schumacher Volvo are professional & pleasant to deal with. but NOT the Management. Schumacher on Northlake acted similarly. Spouse tried to purchase a VW from them & they would not match same terms we had at another VW store. We would have preferred to buy from Schumacher due to their closer location. Same store had agreed to a price on a used vehicle. "Manager" then came in and stated the car i wanted was in "high demand" and changed the price. I left. Next day they called saying they would honor the original terms. It was too late, i had purchased elsewhere. Have lived in Palm Beach County for almost 35yrs. In that time, we purchased 24 cars for myself, spouse, & children. 0 from a Schumacher dealerships even though we tried numerous times. More
