I tried to purchase a reliable car to be able to drive my 2,5-year-old autistic daughter to have a reliable transportation for her everyday therapy. On 6/17/23 the 2019 Jeep Cherokey was purchased by me at 2,5-year-old autistic daughter to have a reliable transportation for her everyday therapy. On 6/17/23 the 2019 Jeep Cherokey was purchased by me at Fitzgerald's Used Car Outlet Center Clearwater at 23499 US Highway 19N in Clearwater, FL 33765. After two weeks car begin to make noises while stopping, few days later the car died in a middle of busy intersection with my daughter in a car, I got a jump - car started and was brough it to the service center (07/07/23) (owned by the same company) where it was repaired. Parts were changed and what it looked like to untrained person the problem was resolved. Three weeks later (08/08/23) the problem with car making noise while stopping and starting came up again and vehicle was brought the second time to the service where parts were changed and was declared as fixed. Today (9/12/23) car dies again in 6 lane intersection (right in the middle of it) with my daughter in a car. The concern is that some of the issues coming up with the car were inspected by the dealer before the purchase and has passed for parts that were inspected and still had to be replaced. Car that turns itself off in a middle of the street puts my child in great danger possibly fatal if hit in a middle of the intersection by another car, due to negligence of the dealer inspecting it and service making repairs for a car that pass their own inspection. I’m looking for resolution for this problem of a different vehicle that is safe for my child. I shouldn’t have to sacrifice my daughter safety because I was sold unsafe vehicle. If I have to I will take legal actions and publicize this on local and social media about the problems I been having. More

Had to wait 3 weeks for a service appointment. Touchless carwash tore my antenna cap off, and the mirror quit folding on my Genesis. I have an extended powertrain warranty. This dealership, as I w Touchless carwash tore my antenna cap off, and the mirror quit folding on my Genesis. I have an extended powertrain warranty. This dealership, as I was previously warned, is a rude rip-off. They wanted $500 for a $13 part, and $140 an hour for labor, just to even look at my mirror. They were sooo rude to my non-confrontational husband (people shouldn't be spoken to that way), they said our car has no warranty, I have the warranty paper right here. If you want to be ripped off and lied to after waiting 3 weeks for appointment, choose this dealership. Please check my other reviews, more specifically my other Huyundia dealership review, I'm not a miserable person, but don't mistreat my family, my time, my finances or my possessions. Run from these rude theives. Huyundia Corporate should secret shop this dealership, then probably end up revoking their dealership privileges back into the auto-mall they crawled out from. I called warn I was reviewing they didn't care. Please check Google Reviews for proof of my warranty. They should have called to apologize and made this right, they do not care. More

I am in the market for a new Hyundai and there are very few cars available. Fitzgerald’s had a car inbound that I was interested in. I was told that I could not put a deposit down to purchase the vehicle few cars available. Fitzgerald’s had a car inbound that I was interested in. I was told that I could not put a deposit down to purchase the vehicle because I did not live in Clearwater. I live 80 miles south of Clearwater and was told that was to far to be considered in their local area. I was told that I could purchase the vehicle when it came in if nobody had put a deposit on it from the Clearwater area. I do understand that they would like to keep potential buyers local, but with the new car shortages us consumers are forced to expand our buying area to find the desired car. Nobody should be restricted to a certain area while shopping for an automobile! When the manufacturer’s get caught up with production and dealerships have their lots flooded with automobiles, they will be begging customers to drive a few extra miles to purchase from them! More

In mid November of 2016 I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Genesis. The car deal was seemingly normal with one peculiarity, It was to be registered in Texas. I was on leave at the time from a tour of duty in Japan and thought it a good idea to acquire a vehicle and was visiting Tampa. The dealership however assured me that this was nothing they couldn't accomplish and I went on my way with a new car at a relatively fair price. I drove the car to Texas where it was to be stored while I finished my last few months in Japan. As early January rolls around i'm greatly concerned because the car in storage has temp tags that have been expired since December 14th, almost a whole month! When I had finally got a hold of the dealership the plates had magically shown up at that instant and they overnighted them to Texas and when a dealership offers to overnight something like that across the country it's because they screwed the pooch. My suspicions of course were confirmed when the tax office said the plates were processed weeks before but I didn't think too much of it because the issue was resolved.....or so I thought. As the end of March rolls around I'm being nagged by my financial institution about the whereabouts of the vehicles title!!!(I forgot to mention they've been nagging for 5 months). After realizing very quickly that title is nowhere to be found, I went all the way to the tax office to do a vehicle inquiry (not fun, not fun at all). They gave me the inquiry come to find out Fitzgerald sent the title to Hyundai finance which is not even close to the financial institution i'm using. After a lengthy conversation with Hyundai finance over the phone they couldn't find the title. So I called the dealership (keep in mind i'm in Texas so I can't just walk in and start raising xxxx). The lady in the title department I won't say her name to protect her privacy but her initials are JAIDE!!! JAIDE had a jar of excuses sitting right on her desk and a chimpanzee with a crayon in the corner keeping the jar full. JAIDE first of got angry as to how I would have the audacity to call Hyundai finance and try and find my title. She then gave me about ten excuses as to how this happened and said the dealership would fix it and that was the last I heard of her until a week later after I got more threats from my financial institution and I called JAIDE and said xxx. I guess she forgot about me and a car having no title didn't matter in the least bit so I got a lawyer and started making plans to rescind the car deal. This stirred up the hornets nest because the general manager Mr.Coffey decided this was now serious since he was about to hack up 20k from under his mattress. I thought this would all be solved but I soon learned that the head honcho has two chimps in the corner with crayons filling up an even bigger jar with little slips of paper that have ready made excuses on them. In Mr.Coffey's defense he did get a duplicate title to Navy Federal and the lien holder changed to them but that was an expectation that came with the purchase of the vehicle that never was fulfilled. Then the big question came WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO DO TO REMEDY THE SITUATION AND COMPENSATE FOR THE 5 MONTHS OF ABSOLUTE SUFFERING AND ROUNDABOUTS AND LIES AND EXCUSES TO A CUSTOMER??? I had a neat proposal that the dealership pay 5 months in car payments (which is quite generous considering I could have just left the xxxx thing in a field for them to pick it up since there was no title, or who knows I could have been an alcoholic that gotten drunk and killed a nice family walking the dog with the vehicle bringing the dealership into a nice multi million dollar court case since they sold me a vehicle and there's no title). In conclusion i'm not going to tell anybody not to buy or to buy from this dealership but what I will tell you is you should NOT buy from any Fitzgerald auto mall just to be safe. In addition to the legal problems you will have you will have problems with the car also. The first month I had it the vehicles battery went out and it needed an alignment. Pay the few extra dollars for a dealership that knows what it's doing!!!!!!!!!! More
