Consumer Warning – Dyer Auto Group (Lake Wales, Vero Beach, Fort Pierce) If you value honesty and integrity, please read before buying from any Dyer dealership. I purchased a Cadillac Escalade fro Beach, Fort Pierce) If you value honesty and integrity, please read before buying from any Dyer dealership. I purchased a Cadillac Escalade from Dyer Chevrolet Lake Wales earlier this year. Four months later, law enforcement arrived at my home and seized the vehicle, confirming it was a stolen SUV with a fraudulent VIN. When this happened, the General Manager personally promised in writing a complete reversal of the deal and a replacement Escalade of equal or better value, with no additional cost out of my pocket. His exact words were: “Yes, sir.” But once the pressure cooled, the dealership backtracked, changed their story, and refused to honor their commitment. They also claimed they “helped me with financing,” which is completely false — I went there with a Capital One pre-approval, and they simply ran multiple credit pulls anyway. After the incident, they mailed me a $1,000 check, calling that a “refund.” Meanwhile, I had already paid over $6,500 toward the loan on a car that was never legally mine. According to Florida law, once a dealer sells a stolen vehicle, it’s their obligation to make the customer whole — not minimize liability with excuses. I have forwarded all communications and written proof to the Florida DMV’s Division of Motor Vehicles. The case has been officially assigned to a Senior Compliance Analyst in Tallahassee, meaning the investigation is now active at the state level. If you look up Dyer Auto Group online — Lake Wales, Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, and Dyer Marine — you’ll see a pattern of dishonest behavior and broken promises. I’m sharing this to protect other consumers from the same experience. 🚫 Avoid Dyer Auto Group. Their “integrity and transparency” slogan is nothing but a sales line. 📄 All evidence, texts, and communications have been submitted to regulators. — Alexandre dos Santos More
