“Terrible Experience at Gerald Nissan of Naperville” I had an extremely disappointing experience at Gerald Nissan of Naperville, located at 1575 W Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL. Despite finalizing the car sel had an extremely disappointing experience at Gerald Nissan of Naperville, located at 1575 W Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL. Despite finalizing the car selection and price the day before, having my credit application approved, and agreeing on the down payment, I was forced to wait over five hours at the dealership to complete the paperwork. The sales staff and management exhibited highly unprofessional and discriminatory behavior. Adam X. Reyna, the salesperson, and managers Edgar Martinez and George Charalambous, treated us with bias and a lack of respect. It was clear that decisions were influenced by racial discrimination. For example, George Charalambous spoke to us in a condescending tone and told me, “Take your business elsewhere,” when we tried to negotiate terms based on discrepancies in the car’s history. This was in stark contrast to how he treated other customers in the store. The car, advertised as “non-accident,” was found to have a minor accident on the Carfax report. When I proposed numbers based on fair market value, including KBB and other dealership offers, they were outright dismissed. To make matters worse, the finance manager, Jessica Johnson, handled the credit application process in a highly questionable manner. She attempted to impose nearly $4,000 in unnecessary fees and add-ons, which were not disclosed upfront. When I questioned these charges, she suggested that denying the approval or stopping the process was an option, leaving me feeling cornered and exploited. This dealership operates on dishonesty, racial bias, and predatory practices. The experience was so bad that I would strongly advise anyone considering Gerald Nissan of Naperville to look elsewhere.
