Marion Gilbert helped me with my need to update the SD card in my 2020 Mazda CX-30 GPS system. I had asked my Service Expert, Eddie Goines for help because my 14 year old Dell home laptop computer was, li card in my 2020 Mazda CX-30 GPS system. I had asked my Service Expert, Eddie Goines for help because my 14 year old Dell home laptop computer was, like me at age 79, “over the hill.” Eddie knew that Marion was very computer savvy and I found he was right, as he always is. Marion met with me even though his primary position at Jim Ellis Mazda Marietta is as vehicle sales consultant. He took the time necessary to effectively help me achieve my need with the SD card update because of his IT Guy capabilities. He and Eddie and receptionist Ruthie and my longtime sales associate Mike Fresque and General Manager Daryl NeSmith have made me feel welcome there. They know me by name and I always feel at home there. If you want a great automotive partner go there and expect the best in vehicle choice, sales, service, and results. Everytime. Terrible experience, they tried to price gouge me and do a lot of unnecessary stuff to my car. They quoted me $3,000 and completely misdiagnosed my 2014 mazda cx-5. Their service manager (Eddie?) charged me a lot of unnecessary stuff to my car. They quoted me $3,000 and completely misdiagnosed my 2014 mazda cx-5. Their service manager (Eddie?) charged me $300 for diagnostics that were incorrect. I took it Pep boys after taking it to Jim Ellis (because the car was still drivable mind you) and pep boys said all I needed was a new battery and like magic the issue was fixed. I gave Pep boys the diagnostic report from Jim Ellis Mazda and they said it was definitely an attempt at overcharging me for unnecessary services and my alternator has been working fine ever since, even though Jim Ellis Mazda said it had already gone bad. DO NOT trust this dealership or service department, I'll never use them again. This felt like a scam for sure. More

From the time I arrived, until I left, I was treated as if I was the only customer in the building! Eddie Goines kept me updated, and checked on my needs during the wait, and my service Technician, Richard if I was the only customer in the building! Eddie Goines kept me updated, and checked on my needs during the wait, and my service Technician, Richard informed me via video, as to what was being done. Could have had it serviced closer to home, but the extra drive was well worth it! Will do the same thing next time!! Awesome!! More
