Service Manager Shandi Collins - Fixed Operations Dir spoke to about my experience…. Don Mele - Fixed Operations Director Dennis Hartley - Assist. Service Manager Shandi Collins - Fixed Operations Director (who reached out so nicely for my review/offered to help with my concern for the service department) The part that was missing/nor offered to help replace- M12x1.75 37 mm long My 2018 Jeep Cherokee went in for service due to my brake light on/parking light on/emergency brake light up. Service Manager stated they could look over my rear brakes as we had just repaired brakes/rotors/calibers/brake actuator. I received a call the same day my vehicle was taken in for service stating it was repaired and everything was safe. The issue was a piece of the brake system was not completely plugged in, which was electronic. Once I picked up my Jeep there was a noise I noticed as to which I was told everything was fixed no abnormal sounds when the test drive was done, brakes worked great and functioned properly. As we stopped to see what the noise was we noticed my 2018 Jeep Cherokee had came back missing parts which had been replaced brand new. My whole caliber was moving up and down, which was allowing my brakes to not “function properly” nor “safe.” I feel as I paid over $400 my vehicle should have been returned with what it was received with and fixed as the service department had guaranteed me. Instead I was left stranded on the side of the road for 3.5 hours. As I notified the dealership service department I was told “we didn’t check that side” but I can send you to our parts department and they can help you. However, I was told when I picked my 2018 Jeep Cherokee up they had properly looked it over and found the problem and everything was properly functioning and safe with my rear brake system. If that was the case my bolt would have been in my caliber bracket holding it for my brakes to work properly without an abnormal sound. Prior Mechanic can verify parts were there. Vehicle was sent into be troubleshooted due to brake system not functioning properly due to brake light being on/emergency brake flashing/not going above 5 mph. Instead of getting it completely fixed and returned with all the parts, I got the vehicle back missing a bolt to hold the caliber bracket on. I requested my bolt to be replaced at no charge, as this could have been a life threatening situation if it had gotten down into my rim. The situation was not resolved the service department manager told me “I’m sorry your having this issue you can purchase it at the parts store and simple put it in and the problem be fixed.” However, this said bolt M12x1.75 37 mm long is not available. I then asked what to do and was told to have a nice day. Real great customer service! My advice is to not trust this Service Department. They will say they test drove and not. If they hear a noise they wont notify you, they’ll ignore it cause your safety isn’t their too priority! I’ll be contacting corporate! Been a customer since 2018! Definitely will be selling and going to a different dealership! More
