Best car buying experience in 18 years of driving. I spent half of the day at the dealership. This was the 4th dealership I visited on this round of purchasing a vehicle. Part of my decision to visit t I spent half of the day at the dealership. This was the 4th dealership I visited on this round of purchasing a vehicle. Part of my decision to visit this distant dealership was the ease of use of their website-I picked out a handful of vehicles in my price range and printed them out on the "saved" page. So simple. Test driving/selecting a vehicle: Jennifer Murray helped me sift through a handful of vehicles I chose on their website the night before . . . I drove a total of 6 before deciding to purchase the Escape but instead of purchasing immediately I went home to sleep on it. I was surprised there was zero pressure applied by them to make a decision quickly, no comments akin to "it might not be here when you come back", no requests that I make a deposit for them to "hold the vehicle for" me, etc. It was the first time I've experienced a truly low or no pressure vehicle purchase. Additionally Jennifer was relate-able and helpful. She knew questions to ask (that I didn't know I needed to know) that helped me better decide what was right for my situation. Purchase: The window price on the SUV was a fair one to begin with but it seemed un-American and rude to not attempt to get it for less. Don (Jr.) and Jennifer didn't try to squeeze every penny out of me they could. I was shocked, almost, that they were so damned simple to negotiate with vs. the traditional: make me sit for long periods of time while they play solitaire and allegedly discuss getting a lowered price, attempting to confuse me by "waiving" a bunch of made up fees, trying to shoehorn me into a contract I truly don't want, etc. In the end I felt I got the best end of the transaction and whether or not that is true is wholly irrelevant to me because the process felt professional and honest and didn't leave me feeling weak, rushed, or undignified. Paperwork: Carole took longer to introduce herself than she did to complete the paperwork and explain (in easily understood terms) my warranty. It was a dream. She didn't try to talk me into financing and seemed content to let me pay cash. I'm still not sure why, actually. Delivery: The vehicle was delivered at no additional cost to me in my city the next day. The interior and exterior had been cleaned again, it was re-fueled, a new air freshener was at work, and they even had it inspected for me at no cost. In summary, if I some day wreck this vehicle or it is stolen by nefarious ne'er-do-wells and set fire before being pushed into the ocean I'm coming back to this dealership and buying my next vehicle. I also took a nap in the parking lot and they made fun of me for that. More

He was the epitome of helpfulness without being overbearing and patiently waded through all of our questions and test driving. Lots of beautiful vehicles to choose from too! It was a very positive experience and we enjoyed buying our car from Mr. Don Hunsaker's Dealership in Nixa, MO. This was our 2nd vehicle to purchase from him, but our first one under his new name, so glad we found you again!! I am sure it won't be the last and we are happy to recommend Modern Motorcars and Jeff Sage!! More

The sales person was very helpful and in no way pressuring, just providing information. The financial staff was incredibly helpful in assisting to find a great interest rate on a loan, and they are prompt in providing paperwork needed to finish the transaction. We believe we received a very good financial deal, in that the vehicle was priced at a great value and we received a very fair trade in value for our vehicle. I would do business with them again, and would encourage others to check them out. More

Every single time my encounter has been efficient, straightforward and stress-free. From the time Don (Yes, the owner actually is hands-on!) evaluated my car for trade-in all the way through to setting up financing and a warranty with Carole, my experience was second to none. My Daughters First Car As a lot of people can relate, having a child that is nearing driving age can be terrifying and exciting at the same time. Knowing that once my daugh As a lot of people can relate, having a child that is nearing driving age can be terrifying and exciting at the same time. Knowing that once my daughter pulls out of the drive for the first time, Daddy can't be there to protect her. Having a safe and reliable vehicle is a must and I had to look no further than Modern Motorcars. My daughter and I were looking thru their online inventory one evening and found a perfect match. I literally had the keys by noon the next day to test drive and took it home to make sure my daughter and wife were comfortable with it. Knowing Modern Motorcars reputation, I knew that the vehicle I was purchasing was exactly what we were looking for, a safe, reliable and affordable vehicle for our daughter. The staff at Modern go above and beyond, even for an overprotective father. Seeing her pull out of our drive for the first time will still be an anxious moment for my wife and I, but we both know that Modern helped us put her in a vehicle that they themselves would put their own family in.
