Good afternoon. You responded to my post for dealer rater and requested a note. Let me start backwards--I called BMW of North America and lodged a complaint yesterday. I went to the web site for BMW of Tenafly and made a complaint and was told someone would contact me. I called BMW of Tenafly yesterday and was thrown into the voice mail of someone named Kim. Guess what--not one person called me. As for my mother, she got a car from the dealer ship AND THEY DID NOT REGISTER IT PROPERLY. She was pulled over and told the car was not registered to her. Officer fortunately let her go. My mother immediately went to BMW of Tenafly and left the car there for it to be properly registered. They gave her a rental car. THAT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO. She has not had use of her own car--why is she making payments on a car you did not register and that she cannot drive. She has continuously asked and her car is still sitting there. The rental given to her got a flat tire and the dealership tried to use her insurance to fix the flat. It has now been two days AND SHE IS STILL WITHOUT A CAR. She specifically asked that they give her a new rental car and they will not. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen My mother is 77 1/2 years old--she has not had use of her car in over a month because the basic thing dealerships due--register a car--they did not do properly. Now she is sitting home without a car and getting the run around. To make matters worse--NO ONE responded to any of my communications.
