I had a good experience purchasing my car through Dawson. Unfortunately, I ran into an issue 3 days after buying my brand new (2025) vehicle and Dawson suggested I bring my car in to the dealership to have looked at. Two times in one day my car would not start after several minutes of attempts, which prompted me to have it looked at. It was last minute, and I didn’t have an appointment with the service team, but they accommodated me because I had just bought the car 3 days before. They said they’d need to run diagnostics and get me a rental car in the meantime. I feel there was a GREAT deal of miscommunication between the sales, service, and enterprise team regarding this topic. I was led to the enterprise center via a service advisor, and was advised that I would have to cover the full cost of the rental and be reimbursed after they found and fixed the issue with my car. I found this surprising and absurd given the fact I drove my car off the lot 3 days earlier and it was brand new. I was left feeling cheated and confused regarding this policy, I had to step away and collect myself before speaking to my salesmen about what was occurring. My salesman seemed confused that they were making me pay for it, and a manager was then involved in the situation. We went over to enterprise, the sales manager and enterprise rep went back and forth about what was needed to get me a car on their dime, and then the sales manager had to go write up a proper form to give enterprise to make it happen. I am thankful that they made it right in the end, however, their miscommunication was at my expense as I was initially left to “figure it out” had I not spoken to my salesman before renting that car. They managed to “fix” the issue to my vehicle after one day of having it in the shop as well. Essentially they could not replicate the same issue I was experiencing and told me to make sure I was holding down the start button properly when trying to start my car. I’ve owned push to start cars before and just felt like I was being talked down to and made to feel like my issue wasn’t real just because they couldn’t replicate it. If the issue happens again, I’d rather take it to a different mechanic than this dealership after my experience. All in all, I hope the cars they sell in the future are properly checked to ensure that everything is functioning properly before they are given to the customer. More

Service was horrible, communication terrible. No one answers phones, nor text messages. Called and texted for two hours till I finally got a return call.
