Lied to throughout the whole process When I initially called to put a deposit on the vehicle, they already had a deposit from someone else. As a returning customer they said they would search for the same vehicle for me. A week later I got a call saying they found one after looking day and night. It was $1,000 more than the first vehicle of the same model. Ready to buy it, I asked for the carfax and VIN#, just to find out it was the same vehicle I had initially tried to put a deposit on a week prior. They went back to the original price, saying it was an accident. Then I asked if there were any dents or scratches, they told me no. When I got to the dealership there were dents, scratches and chips on all sides of the vehicle. Someone had hit something, ruining the front left corner of the bumper. They offered $200 off after arguing all used vehicles are like that. Needing the work truck badly I bought it. Three weeks later and multiple phone calls, I still have not received the $100 deposit refund or the difference of the check I gave them and cost of the vehicle. Every time we speak they say they are going to mail it as soon as we’re off the phone. Miserable car buying experience, cannot believe they treat a returning customer like that. More

TOP NOTCH EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH! I just wanted to take a few minutes and share the outstanding car leasing experience my wife and I had at Paul Masse Chevrolet in East Providence. Fr I just wanted to take a few minutes and share the outstanding car leasing experience my wife and I had at Paul Masse Chevrolet in East Providence. From the moment my wife and I drove into the parking lot we were treated like royalty. An older gentleman helped my wife and I find parking spots and ushered us in to see Wayne Guindon for our appointment where we were also able speak with Sam DeSousa, the Service Manager, who was also extremely helpful. My wife Cheryle and I have not purchased a new vehicle in about 7 or 8 years due to some financial/credit hardships so we were a bit jittery about the process. Wayne made us feel comfortable, answered all of our questions thoroughly and professionally, and gave us other options when we needed them. We are finally driving a new vehicle after years of sacrifice and the experience could not have been more stress free. Wayne even helped us transfer our personal items from our old cars to our new 2019 Chevy Equinox. Crystal, in finance, was friendly and confident when she had us sign our paperwork and there were no surprises. Couldn't be happier! Thank you for an amazing experience. I think you may have created two lifelong customers here. More

"Bait and Switch" I Found 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 stock # CK7202 at Paul Masse Chevrolet, East Providence, RI on line. I called them and internet specialist Karen sai I Found 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 stock # CK7202 at Paul Masse Chevrolet, East Providence, RI on line. I called them and internet specialist Karen said vehicle in stock and because it was RED Tag, sale price was $ 37988. I told her I would come to see vehicle and it would take me an hour to get there. She said she would have it pulled up for me and to see Matt Sousa sales manager. I walked into showroom with my nephew, first time buyer, and salesman Dave Wellington Sr, introduced himself, and he went to see Matt, came back and said he would get vehicle. Look the vehicle up and said was just sold within the hour, but had others like it at the same price. This was substantiated by Matt, sales manager. Dave goes to get one, but comes back with a lower model, nothing close to what we asked for. BAIT AND SWITCH! We left after wasting our time. Dave called us next day to see when we could come to dealership. I said we want a vehicle similar to what we came in for yesterday afternoon, he said he had them in stock, and would call us right back. Four days later still waiting for phone call. Not a dealership to be doing business with as far as we're concerned, especially if you're a first time buyer. Watch out for their deceptive practices! More

The best Service I ever Had I really enjoyed my experience. Mr. Wellington Sr was a great person to deal with and I can see where he gets his great customer service because Matt I really enjoyed my experience. I look forward to seeing the whole team on my first oil change to tell them how much I like my truck. Each Person was very patient and they went above and beyond. This is my second vehicle from Paul Masse and they found a life long customer. Mr Paul Masse should be very happy with his Sales Team. More

NEVER buy "Certified" here Bought a "certified" pre-owned Chevy Silverado here in April 2014. The only reason I got any sort of a deal on the price was because the certified pr Bought a "certified" pre-owned Chevy Silverado here in April 2014. The only reason I got any sort of a deal on the price was because the certified pre-owned vehicle had physical damage. I spoke with Dave Wellington on the phone prior to driving 1.5 hours to look at the vehicle. Dave brought the vehicle around, and before he could even get out of the truck I saw a dent that had already begun to rust. They told me that the reason that the vehicle was priced so aggressively was because of the physical damage, but that mechanically it was fine, which so far has been true. However, once I got home, another 1.5 hr ride, my wife hopped in the back seat, and being the great mother she is, checked to see how our children would fit. Turns out that all 3 rear seat belts were torn. Both outside ones were still attached, but torn 2/3 of the way through. The middle one was torn all the way through. I find it very hard to believe that seat belts are not part of Chevrolet's 172-point Certified pre-owned inspection process. Instantly, I called to complain and request that this get fixed at their expence. They did agree to do this, but would not let me get the work do at any of the 20+ Chevrolet dealers closer to my home. So, once they ordered the belts (1 week later) I drove another 1.5 hour to get there just to find out that they had ordered the wrong belts and that I would have to come back again...xxx!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a Silverado, there must be 100 of them on their lot, couldn't swap some out and fix the vehicle that they own at a later date??? Finally, they offered to send a driver to my house to pick up my truck and drive it back there to get the belts fixed (another week later) and assured me that it would be returned with a full tank of gas. Well, the work was finally complete, but I had less gas than when it left. They must have tried to just re-fill what they had used. I called and spoke with Dave Wellington about this and he told me to come back down, 1.5 hrs, to get my tank of gas. YEAH RIGHT!!!. No offer to mail a gas card, that would be the easy fix. Any half-witted sales man would know that. I will be happy if I never even drive by this dealership again. O yeah, the finance girl had the worst attitude. I would say what I really think of her, but then this review might not get posted. More

When I picked up my car, he went out of his way to hook up my "ancient" flip phone to the blue tooth feature, and helped me to register with on star. The dealership made me feel like family by posting a small poster on the windshield proclaiming that the car was especially prepared for me with my name on it. Further, Dave took a picture of me and assured me that I would receive a calendar with my picture and my new car. Overall, Dave and the staff made me feel at home, and took out a lot of the anxiety of making such a momentous purchase. Simply put, thanks for all of your help in making my visit a very positive experience. More
