After visiting several dealerships in our quest for a certified pre-owned car, we decided on a car at Marquardt Buick of Barrington. We had narrowed our search to a few 2023 Enclaves at different dealers certified pre-owned car, we decided on a car at Marquardt Buick of Barrington. We had narrowed our search to a few 2023 Enclaves at different dealerships. The cars were mostly the same and even priced similarly online, but what we saw in person was not the same. Marquardt stood out because they took the time to properly clean the vehicle inside and out before we arrived. The odometer read the same as we had seen online while another dealership had 3000 more miles on the car than what was listed on CARFAX. Marquardt presented us with a printout of the original window sticker and didn’t try to pressure us into a decision. Another dealer had a French Canadian window sticker showing their MSRP in Canadian Dollars which inaccurately depicted the value of the car. There was nothing on the sticker to show the price wasn’t in US dollars. When I asked if that price might be in Canadian dollars, they admitted it was. I doubt everyone would have thought to ask that question. It felt wrong to me that no one had bothered to note the difference, so we ruled that dealer out. Everything about the purchase at Marquardt felt right. They were honest and fair. There was no pressure. We drove away feeling comfortable and confident with our purchase and would gladly return to Marquardt to make a future purchase! More
