Originally from Winston Salem, Daryl came to Raleigh in 1983 to attend NC State University. He is married to his wife of 20 years and has two kids, Zachary, 14, and Kennedy, 10. In his time away from work, Daryl enjoys working with his son on his basketball skills, as Zachary is striving to play at the collegiate level. He also likes playing golf, watching sporting events, and collecting sports memorabilia. Daryl worked with Enterprise Rent a Car before he joined the Leith Honda team. Since coming on board in the summer of 2013, Daryl has found that the most rewarding part of his job is helping people achieve a dream of owning a car.
