I was really hoping to have a great experience at this dealership. While FL is less consumer friendly, GA has excellent consumer laws. Unfortunately this dealer tried to break all of them. I did not try to negotiate on the price of the car at all so this quote was on the price as listed which I was ok with paying. My first quote had a $899 doc fee added on which is meant to be included in the advertised price by law. Then an extra $645 "non tax" fee which I was told was the lemon law fee when I inquired about it. When I looked that up, it's not meant to be on used cars and the lemon law fee should be $3. When I pointed these things out, the general sales manager removed those fees and then said it would cost $1500 more to pay in cash. Another illegal practice according to Regulation Z of the Truth In Lending Act. The salesman I was working with was extremely helpful and responsive and I would have loved to complete the sale with him but the practices of the dealership were not fair or legal. 5 stars for Darrin but 1 for the dealership. More
