Bought a 4Runner Limited from Koons Tysons in 2016 based on dealership/service ratings. Great car, but noted declining levels of service reliability/consistency over time as indicated by dealership ratings on dealership/service ratings. Went to purchase a 2022 4Runner Limited in current market environment...worst buying experience/customer focus in my 40 years of buying vehicles. Vehicle I was interested in was in "warehouse" on the first day we visited; went back the next day but called first to confirm vehicle was still available and was told "Yes, come on in" by the salesman after checking with Sales Mgr. When we arrived within the hour, we were told vehicle was sold the previous day...evidently 3 differing inventory databases exist between the salesman, sales manager and "Inventory Manager" with no apparent data syncing. Salesman had minimal knowledge of vehicle features and an "assistant" walked us through the few vehicle changes since 2016. With sales driven by above-MSRP revenue stream, Koons Tysons has ZERO customer focus. Purchased a vehicle from another dealership and the sales/customer service was OUTSTANDING. Totally DONE with this dealership! More
