However there are some communication and clarity issues that could come across as deceptive. I was contacted by a another salesman after filling out the information on the website. Salesman told me the price so I went in, test drove the vehicle and did the usually communicating involved. This is when it becomes deceptive. The other Sales Manager (Not Daniel) comes back with a completely different price than what was told to me through text message conversations. Then came the pushy sales pitches and constant pressure from the sales manager about how the price would only be good for that day, then and there. They continued to call and text throughout the week.

Predatory Sales Tactics and Bait-and-Switch Experience
I drove 11+ hours from Michigan to Nissan of Olathe specifically to purchase a 2026 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X R by Roush because of their advertised 0% financing. I asked upfront for a complete out-the-door price including all taxes, fees, and details.
From the beginning, the process raised serious red flags:
• They sent an “internal use only” worksheet with cut-off numbers and no Michigan sales tax shown. When questioned, the salesman blamed a “bad photo.”
• I later discovered I would owe ~$2,825 in Michigan use tax at registration. The salesman initially claimed ignorance and said I’d be fine, forcing me to demand it be rolled into the deal.
Once I arrived, they attempted a clear bait-and-switch: they tried to put me into a 2025 model with much higher interest rates (9.5%) instead of the 2026 model that had the 0% financing I came for. They also pushed extremely hard on expensive add-on packages totaling over $9,500 financed. It felt incredibly predatory — like they were trying to move an older truck off the lot while upselling high-interest financing to an out-of-state buyer who had driven a long way.
The salesman even left mid-process and later texted complaining about his manager being rude to him. I had to repeatedly push back and make it clear I was willing to walk away before they finally honored the original 2026 truck with 0% financing.
In the end, I got the truck I wanted at a fair price, but the lack of transparency, attempted bait-and-switch, and overall manipulative tactics made this one of the worst car-buying experiences I’ve ever had.
If you value honesty and straightforward dealing, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Buyer beware.

While I appreciate you reaching out, the issues went well beyond one new salesman. I specifically requested a complete out-the-door quote multiple times, yet received incomplete “internal use only” documents with critical information (like Michigan sales tax) missing. I had to discover the ~$2,825 tax obligation myself during the 11-hour drive.
The attempted bait-and-switch from the 2026 model (with 0% financing) to a 2025 model at much higher interest, combined with aggressive add-on pushes, made the experience feel highly manipulative. I only received the originally agreed terms after making it clear I was prepared to walk away.
I’m glad I ended up with the 2026 truck I wanted at 0% financing, but the overall process was stressful and lacked transparency. Other buyers should be aware and ask for everything in writing upfront.
Great guys here, no xx no upselling.
