We came from two hours away because Machens had the best stock selection. Working with Dan Berry was a pleasure, and we were very satisfied with the new vehicle price and our trade-in allowance. We've bought dozens of vehicles over the last 50 years, with a few pushy or tricky salesmen and difficult dealerships along the way, but our experience with Dan, Marc Weiner and Machens was as good as it gets. Made the four hour round trips worth it. More

Joe Machens Ford Lincoln, Columbia MO a great dealership I knew I wanted a Ford Fusion, and selected an SE and an SEL on the Joe Machens Ford websit, then made an appointment with Dan Barry. I was a full hal I knew I wanted a Ford Fusion, and selected an SE and an SEL on the Joe Machens Ford websit, then made an appointment with Dan Barry. I was a full half-hour early for my 8:00 am appointment with Dan but the dealership was already open. Waiting for Dan to arrive afforded me the opportunity of enjoying an unexpectedly pleasant and altogether welcoming experience that set the tone for the whole day. Dan had both the SE and SEL ready and waiting for me. His answers to all my questions about the different trims made my decision to go with the SEL an informed choice. As a first-time new car buyer, I was prepared to “pay cash” but Scott Morton very patiently explained to me the benefit of financing with Ford Credit. As it turned out, this is a very practical suggestion for me personally that also provides my SEL with optimum service and maintenance contracts and additional insurance, all made affordable by a generous rebate. Scott guided me through the process of obtaining the Ford Credit contract, and expertly prepared and explained all the paperwork. I really appreciate Scott’s good advice and time and trouble taken. While Scott was busy making all the complicated arrangements to ensure financing, Dan Barry made the time fly by congenially sharing his knowledge and Ford Fusion technology expertise with me. When all business had been transacted, Dan not only installed my temporary tags, he also “synch’d” my cell phone! Thanks to Dan, I felt comfortable and confident when I drove my new state-of-the-art vehicle off the Machens lot. Later same day, I was much embarrassed to have to call Dan but he understood and ever-so-graciously helped me. I think Dan Barry is simply the berries – the berry best! I really didn’t know anything about buying a new car and I didn’t buy the most expensive car on the lot but I was treated like an important customer. Many and sincere thanks to Dan Barry and Scott Morton, two great people who got me a great deal on a great car! More

Great experience I had been in the market for a 2019 Ford Escape around my area for a while. Without any luck, my husband did an online search for what I was looking f I had been in the market for a 2019 Ford Escape around my area for a while. Without any luck, my husband did an online search for what I was looking for and found it at Joe Machen's. A dealer called him within minutes and we committed over the phone, filled out the finance paperwork online and emailed it back and 3 days later, drove to Columbia to get the car. The dealer met us as we walked to the door and the finance personnel was ready for us. Such an easy process! The only warning I would give is that they automatically assume, and factor into the financing, all high end options (like warranties and insurance). More
