The service center policy for customers to pay for parts in advance is offensive, especially when my vehicle (and several others) was purchased from the dealership. This policy also delays scheduling repair in advance is offensive, especially when my vehicle (and several others) was purchased from the dealership. This policy also delays scheduling repairs. The repair was an exhaust leak that is a known manufacturing defect for the vehicle, yet this wasn't shared with me as possibly warranty coverage, TSB coverage or goodwill fix from GM customer service. I found out from a friend that GM is aware of this defect and owners are encouraged to submit a claim to the dealer, which wasn't shared with me or offered. More
