Thanks for clicking on my profile! I've been in the car business since 2004. I started out as a salesman, but since then I've worn a lot of different hats. I've very blessed to be with Vern Eide and I hope to work here until I retire someday. I'm one of those incredibly lucky people that wake up in the morning and get to go to a job I love. I'm an Armour South Dakota native. My parents still live there. I have two brothers, which both work here at Vern Eide. John is a technician at our GM store and Matt is a business manager at the Ford Store. My family and I live here in Mitchell. My girlfriend Kelly and I raise four wonderful children, Reed, Berkeley, Reagan and Abigail. The kids are very active and they keep us plenty busy chasing them around to various activities. I love playing board games. I enjoying singing and playing guitar. I also still shoot on the Engelland Family Pool team. I have an extensive record collection and also enjoy cooking and reading books. Thanks again.

I need to adjust my rating from 5 stars to 1 star as it won't let me rate any lower. I want to start by saying that i have been a loyal customer for 13 years and have purchased 11 cars in that time frame. won't let me rate any lower. I want to start by saying that i have been a loyal customer for 13 years and have purchased 11 cars in that time frame. Lately, we have had a few issues, but nothing really major until now. My husband took his truck in the other day for service and got it returned to us with a huge cracked windshield. Strange since it suddenly had 2 chips under each wiper blade that weren't there a week before when we had the hail estimate done on the truck. Talked to service department and was told it was that way when they got in it. Asked them what they were going to do to fix this situation, was basically told not their problem. Called and left a message to talk to the service manager he didn't even bother to call back. Called to talk to the manager of the mitchell Ford location and his response. I'm not sure how that could have happened and said he would look into it. It has now been a week and nothing back from them, so I guess he doesn't care about it either. They would be more than happy to fix and then charge us for the repairs. This is how you treat customers who have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with you? Ridiculous! If this is how you are going to take care of loyal, long term customers, then I guess I will have to take my business elsewhere. Guess maybe the other company in town that, from what i heard, treats their customers with respect. So its up to you vern eide ford keep long term loyal customers or lose them. Make this right, and i will gladly change my review. If not, then i will tell everyone i know to never shop with you More

Drove 2 hours one way for a deal we agreed on. Got told while we were on the way that the pickup was sold but it wasn’t a big deal. That CJ would take care of us and find a different pickup at the same dea while we were on the way that the pickup was sold but it wasn’t a big deal. That CJ would take care of us and find a different pickup at the same deal. Told him we’d come in and get the deal wrapped up and paperwork done. Told him I’d take a different color so we could get the deal done today. Went to get that pickup and it’s miraculously sold. Said he’d do a dealer trade and deliver for the same price we agreed on. We agreed again, he brought paperwork out with the price being $2,000 more than our agreed upon price. Blamed it on the manager, it very well could’ve been but this goes against the Vern Eide ideals and the word of all involved. Wasted over 5 hours of my family and my time. Avoid the dealership like the Plague. More
