The AC unit in my 2018 Civic has had ongoing issues due to faulty parts which have required extended warranties and replaced parts. Honda has accepted responsibility for those faulty parts, and has rightly not passed any of the cost on to me thus far. However, when another faulty part in my AC unit, the evaporator, caused my AC unit to blow only hot air (no cold), I assumed the faulty part would be covered under warranty like the others. It was not. Instead, Honda is trying to pass the cost on to me and charge me an outrageous $2400 to replace their faulty evaporator. I do not think this is a company acting with integrity, let alone with any care for their customers. If this is how they treat their loyal customers, then I do not recommend Honda.
