Clay was very professional and kept me appraised of the status of the repair throughout the process and gave me options in terms of when it suited me best to collect the car. It's my understanding that the dealership went through an ownership and at first,t I was hesitant to come in but had to go in for an open recall on my Tahoe. The service was fine as I could tell. However when I got in the truck and drove away I could smell an industrial odor that was annoying and verging on headache status. It was possible t However when I got in the truck and drove away I could smell an industrial odor that was annoying and verging on headache status. It was possible that it was somehow related to the cabin air filter replacement. If that is the reason than I would not of had it replaced. Someone suggested that it is a can of new car smell. If that’s the case, terrible idea. I imagine that it will dissipate in a few days. If after a road trip to Utah the smell is still present, I will consult with my service representative about it.
