While my vehicle was in for routine maintenance, they called me to inform me of a leaking water pump that needed to be replaced, said it would cost an additional $600. I have a warranty, I asked if this is covered under that, the response was “it might be, but I don’t know if I’d be able to get a hold of them today.” Why on earth would I pay for something that is covered under warranty. It is covered under warranty, which the dealer confirmed, so I agreed with replacing the water pump. When I got the car home, the coolant reservoir was empty, and there was coolant all over the engine bay. I refilled the coolant, and it looks as if it is leaking out of the water pump. Did you replace the water pump? What did you actually do? What service did you actually perform? I will never take my vehicle here again. The advisors are lazy, the work is sloppy, and I question if the maintenance was even performed. More
