This will be my first and last Hyundai vehicle. The service department is extremely poorly managed. Despite scheduling appointments and dropping off my car for simple services, I can never reach th The service department is extremely poorly managed. Despite scheduling appointments and dropping off my car for simple services, I can never reach the service advisor for updates. They promise to leave a message, but I never receive a return call. I end up without my car for days, with no one able to provide any updates. In 2024, I would expect better technology to track service status. Even the link sent via text when you drop off your vehicle always shows “Arrival complete” with no further updates. The McGrath name used to stand for something, but not anymore. I’m considering switching to a brand that doesn’t rely on the dealership franchise model, like Tesla or Rivian. More

Do not bring your car here, unless you want more problems. I have never experienced treatment or lack there of at any company before. Let alone someone who has your vehicle and mode of transportatio problems. I have never experienced treatment or lack there of at any company before. Let alone someone who has your vehicle and mode of transportation. After calling countless times for 4+ days not one person would tell us the status of our vehicle that was here over 30 days. Left several Voicemails for Rome (service advisor), Ed (service mgr), Tim (service director) and Christine. Not one of these people has called me back still to this day. This is an ongoing problem. We were told our service advisor was on vacation, lunch, busy etc. completely avoided, lied to, disregarded by numerous people from service to sales. One person talked to me at McGrath Honda (Dana) with some insight, thank you to her. Finally picked our car up after it sat for who knows how long with all the parts in because no one was working on it. Just 2 days after picking it up, our Santa Fe broke down on the highway. Now it is back here and we are out a vehicle with no loaner or rental offered, zero empathy and customer service for your clients. We have no way of getting around. I worked at a dealership for 7 years, never once treated any customer this way or ever seen this happen before, completely shocked. Horrible place with bad management and communication/ staffing issues. More

If I could give 0 stars, I would but DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!!! This is NOT the same McGrath experience you would get from the other McG DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!!! This is NOT the same McGrath experience you would get from the other McGrath Dearlerships!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS!! First let me say the purchasing of the car was fine and I was very impressed overall with the salesman and the financial process. They are building a new service wing which looks great. Just don’t buy into the free paint touch up and dent repair for the first year as it is all smoke and mirrors. I bought a brand new 2022 in Apr. My service nightmare began in November when my car was brought in for the oil change. Granted this was the old management and old staff which has all been fired so I won’t go into details with that part of the nightmare. The new manager will give you a million excuses on why things are not run smoothly and while it sounds great, they do not have anything together. It takes forever to get through the phone, you can leave messages and emails for days but no one will get back to you. I was there for 3 hours for an oil change, inspection, and a button to be fixed as a waiter which should have been no more than a hour. When I was told that the scratches and minor dents were covered by their first year McGrath experience it was all lies!!! First they told me the loaner that they were going to give me was ready which I had an appointment for, only to take nearly 2 hours to take. I was told 3 to 5 days. After 4 days of no one getting back to me, it took 3 phone calls, 2 emails, and 3 texts to finally get a response that actually, my car was sitting at the dealership for 5 days without even being looked at as they were attempting to get the estimate from their body shop approved. Apparently when I made the appointment and was told everything was good and approved, the estimate from November (yes it took me 4 months to get the touch up done) was not valid. Then on the 8th day, I was told that scratches aren’t covered and 2 minor dings that were barely noticeable are the only things covered and then I could pick up my car on the 9th day. So 9 days without my car for literally nothing. I was lucky to have a courtesy car. But here is where it gets even worse. My car with only 8k on it suddenly started having a squeal/scream every time I had to break with a loud clunking sound and I wanted to get my car checked as this is not normal. I was told to tow my car there and they would LOOK at it in 3 to 5 days and then call me to tell me what is wrong with it and then to do the work. Well after the previous 9 day excursion, I AM DONE. Customer service doesn’t exist. There are REALLY nice people there but all they have are excuses and empty promises. Luckily I found a different Hyundai dealership that can see me tomorrow morning. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR- GO SOME WHERE ELSE. I KNOW FOR A FACT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. - More

Mike is definitely the best worker at McGrath. He wouldn’t let me leave until I found the car I was comfortable with. Christine was welcoming and informative of the process. I can in for a recall and repair on my lift gate.
