I was honestly not thrilled to have to go to a dealership for the recall bc I figured I would get bombarded with the stereotypical car salesman full court press to do more diagnostics or even buy a new car. You would think that getting service at a dealership that is 120 miles from home would be a hassle to have your BMW serviced and inspected??? They texted a live inspection and explained what needed immediate service and items we might need to do in the near future. We could authorize the repairs without having to sit in the dealership.
