I went to George Gee dealership to pick up a Lexus RX I had found online and really wanted. The team that helped me not only gave great customer service but were genuine and caring. Hayden was great, he gu had found online and really wanted. The team that helped me not only gave great customer service but were genuine and caring. Hayden was great, he guided me through the whole process and the finance team went out of their way to make sure that I was able to walk out with my Lexus that day! Hayden also did his best to make sure everything happened in a timely maner. Within a few hours I was out the door with a full tank of gas and a freshly washed beautiful vehicle! I highly recommend George Gee Kia in Coeur d'Alene! More

Horrible customer service from their service department. I took my 2016 Sorento in to get the Theft recalls addressed and have them check a coolant leak which is covered by the new “Extended Warranty” I I took my 2016 Sorento in to get the Theft recalls addressed and have them check a coolant leak which is covered by the new “Extended Warranty” I was sent by Kia. Kia has realized after 7 years that head bolts ripping out of the block causing a Head Gasket Failure is something they actually owned and should address. Based on this, I take my vehicle in and they diagnose that there is a leaking water pump and Radiator hose. Per the letter from Kia: “If, at any time within the extended warranty period, you experience a coolant leak, coolant smell, and/or engine temperature indicator near “H” mark on the instrument panel cluster, your Authorized Kia Dealership will diagnose the cause free of charge to you. “ (Actually bolded and underlined in the letter.) So after they diagnose the water pump they proceed to tell me that I have to pay the Diagnostic fee due to the cause being the water pump and not the head gasket. I disagreed based on the clear coverage and wording from Kia above noting that the diagnosis was for a coolant leak not specifically for a head gasket. The Service Manager (Chris) dropped the charge to $70 for the diagnostic and noted in the service ticket that I refused to pay the charge and that they “will no longer continue business with customer.” This whole incident goes beyond the total lack of support and resolution to my ongoing coolant / head gasket issues I have had on my Kia Sorrento for over 2 years. If a dealership is not going to support the customer, or their manufacturer, with even the most basic of support and customer service, then I don’t think people should do business with that dealership. Similarly, if this is how one dealership in the network (George Gee) is willing to treat a customer, then you can assume the whole network will do the same. To be clear I involved the GM (Brian) of the dealership in my communication, and this was still the end result after at least twice to discuss an alternate solution or resolution path. Lessons learned. • Don’t buy a Kia…. Ever • Don’t do business with any George Gee Dealership. Which should not be an issue since they don’t want me to do business with them anyways. If a new car dealership is willing to “fire” a customer over $70, then I would be very concerned about expecting any real customer service from them. More

If I could give zero stars to the service department I would. My daughter started to experience some issues with her Kia in July 2023. She would be driving down the road and without warning her car woul would. My daughter started to experience some issues with her Kia in July 2023. She would be driving down the road and without warning her car would shut off, no alarms sounding, and no instrument lights lighting up. So we brought it in to the service center and explained to them what was happening. They said that they would look into it but they would need to have her car for about a week to properly diagnosis the issue. We said ok and off we went. After several phone calls to see if they had any luck getting the issue to replicate for them, and 3 weeks of them having her car we were told that they were unable to replicate the issue. I found this extremely unlikely to believe so we went and picked up her car to take it to another mechanic for a second opinion. While we were there we requested a copy of their history notes which should have logged the date, time, technician, mileage and any notes for they gathered during that test. Low and behold they were unable to produce any history notes for us. Yep that's correct, they could not produce any knowledge of what was wrong, why and a resolution for correcting it because THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HELP HER OUT. Ready for the real kicker, as she was on her way back to work just a couple of miles down the road from George Gee Kia, her car shut off once again in the middle of the road. Funny your service department and licensed qualified technicians could not get it to replicate. In my opinion you took her car, parked it in the back of the lot and left it there. Who knows how long you would have had it had we not gone back in to check on it. This is absolutely unacceptable, my family will NOT give our business to George Gee Kia again. More

My kia had only 100 or so miles when I left for a funeral 800 miles away. On the return it overheated. I used the Kia roadside assistance app only to find that it could not get me a tow or find a repair shop 800 miles away. On the return it overheated. I used the Kia roadside assistance app only to find that it could not get me a tow or find a repair shop. In fairness, I was in Canada and I was told by my first contact when I called George Gee, the dealership I had just bought the car from only 4 weeks previous, that Kia roadside assistance did not work in Canada he thought. I was stranded at this point around 500 miles from home. I had called the dealership as a last resort in a panic to be honest. It was Sunday so I understand that only sales are there but the response was horrendous. I was given the Road side assistance number but I informed them that it had not worked for me when I tried it. They then kept repeating that it was not their problem and that my issue was with Kia and Roadside assistance and they could not help me. Legally, I am sure they were correct, but a brand new car of 4 weeks and only 100 miles on it when the trip began, had a radiator hose that had not been fully attached and was leaking severely and a brand new customer was stranded hundreds of miles from home. The sales manager kept repeating that it was not their problem and I should take it up with Kia and Kia roadside assistance. That does NOTHING to help a customer with a brand new car of only 4 weeks who is stranded. No one tried to go above and beyond. No one tried to make any phone calls to people in upper management at George Gee who may have been able to come up with any alternative ideas. The salemanager actually said he would not expect his people to try to help solve this. Again, legally he is totally correct probably. Legally, George Gee is probably totally clear on this and legally they probably can wipe their hands of me and not give a xxxx because they don't. Not once did anyone I contact express any concern. Not once did anyone say "I'm sorry and we'll see if there is more we can do". I also asked if they would cover my last nights hotel stay since that was not planned. Guess the response? "Here's a number for you to call" It's not our problem. No one said anything but that it was Kia's problem and Kia's roadside assistance problems and I should deal with them. That's a lot of help while you're stranded by the road. They didn't care one bit! But know this, a brand spanking new Kia of only 4 weeks and only 100 or so miles on it was given to a customer with a hose that was not fully connected it appears. And when that car left me stranded, no one was willing to try anything out of the box. Standing by the road, in Canada, hundreds of miles from home, I was told to take it up with Kia and that they could not help me. So when purchasing a new Kia, know that they won't go one finger beyond what they legally have to do. Even on a brand new, 4 week old car, that appears to have been given to the customer with a hose not even fully connected. They can do this to you too if you buy a car from them. Buyer be warned. You get only the bare bottom legally required assistance in an emergency from George Gee Kia. And they won't raise a finger to do more. I will say that their salesman who sold us our vehicle was a very nice young man and service department has stepped up once I nursed a broken car back to the dealership with no help from anyone else. But "sell it and forget you" appears to be the motto of George Gee. I'll never walk in the door of their office without a HUGE apology. Senior management has not even talked to me and the impression I got from Eric Whitman was he wasn't even going to tell senior management but I will wait and see on that. More
