And after days of calling to set up the return, the manager (Chris Schmitt) has the xxxxx , to say he's only know for the day!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I VISIT WESTBURY JEEP, OR REFFER ANYONE- not even my worst enemy. More

My husband and I already own a jeep liberty. We went to Westbury Jeep just to get an appraisal on my Toyota. We looked online and saw there was another jeep liberty for sale and it was a great price. Since the weather in NY has been nothing but snow for the past month, we figured let's just get some information. The appraisal for my Toyota was more than fair. Chris took the time to sit with us and explain the car fax for both my car and the jeep we were looking at. His desk was stacked sky high with work and people in and out of his office, but he still went beyond his "job description" to spend an extra 15 minutes with us. Once my husband and I decided to get the ball rolling, we worked with Eugene. He took down all of the information needed to start the process. Because it was a Friday night, we had to wait until Saturday for all the financial work. We left a deposit to hold the car. Saturday morning at 9am, Jimmy called with all the financing information ready to go. He was more than willing to work with us and give us a fair price. By 10:30am the sale was complete. The truck was ready for pick up at 5pm and in my driveway at 6pm. Eugene had all the paperwork ready to go as soon as we walked in the door. Chris, Eugene and Jimmy all greeted us at the door. I have never had such a positive, smooth experience in buying a car before. There was no game playing! Everyone was straight forward and willing to work with us to make this a positive experience. My boyfriend and I went to Westbury Jeep to look for a used car, 2008 or newer. We were on a tight budget and had been from car dealership to car dealership all day, with little hope. We did not expect anything from Westbury Jeep, and came late one weekday night. Alex was our salesperson, and worked hard with Chris to get us a good deal. We were there for hours, past when they closed. They gave us an AMAZING discount and really worked with our budget to meet our needs. Alex was SO nice, and took us on a test drive of the car that same night. They saved us thousands of dollars, we could not be more grateful. We're expecting a baby boy this November, and feel confident that this car will last us for years. We ended up with a 2011 Jeep Compass. The car is beautiful, runs beautifully...we could just not ask for more! We got the car that week, looking brand new. Thank you again!! More

This is how a dealership should be run. Others take note, you might learn something here. And this is coming from a person which I'm sure the "typical" salesman despises. Yes, I am "that guy". First, Chris Schmitt found me my vehicle (what I wanted was very specific in color and options) in one phone call! Great guy to deal with and took the time to make sure he knew what I wanted. A+ After setting up an appointment I was greeted by Chris and Alex Lutsius at the dealership, who showed me the vehicle and we went for a test drive. Let me say that Alex knows his vehicles. He took the time to explain all the options and features, interior and exterior. Very personable and professional. And this was outside in one of the hottest days here on Long Island! I felt he wasn't "selling" me the vehicle, but "teaching" me about it. He was not your typical salesman, trying to push this or that on you, but actually taking the time to make sure you understood things. A+ Next I met James Ganga in Finance. Again, not your typical "You need to buy this or that" type of guy, but straight forward and honest. He got me a great rate and a deal on a warranty. Again, very friendly and professional. A+ <--Are you seeing a trend here? So to wrap things up, please re-read my first sentence. And if the higher ups are reading this, give these guys a bottle of scotch! I didn't rate quality of work because I have not yet had to bring this vehicle in for service. More
