We are sorry we could not satisfy you. According to our records: Customer came in looking for pre owned gr Cherokee. They bought one that was traded the night before (hadn’t been cleaned or inspected). Gave them a FREE LOANER car to drive while we prepped the Grand Cherokee. The picked up grand Cherokee a couple days later and wanted to install Leather Seats in the vehicle. We arranged it with the vendor and provided another FREE LOANER car to them while the seats were installed. We had to delay transferring plates due to the trade being so fresh, previously liens/titlework had to be finalized before we could finalize their tag work. We informed them that no spare key was turned in but we would try and reach out to the previous owner to see if there was one. Also offered to have our vendor cut a key for them at a discounted rate from our shop. The loaner cars were front line ready vehicles and were not in poor condition at all. Customer lives on a dirt road and possibly picked up some road debris which caused a flat tire. Keeping the license plate at the dealership was a mistake because there was no reason for us to keep it. When they picked up their car after the leather install the tag was installed and registration was provided.

Obviously, the dealership is still not willing to take responsibility. The “free loaners” are absolutely in poor condition. Living on a dirt road does not cause the windshield wipers or the brake lights to malfunction -which both were broken in the first loaner. The low tire pressure light came on in the second loaner before I was even half a mile away from the dealership. I turned around and brought the car back to the dealership, in an effort to prevent being in a dangerous situation driving or replacing the tire on the side of the road, and was told by the dealership that it was a problem with the sensor and I should not expect the sensor to ever turn off. The tires had not touched the dirt road I live on at that time. There was obviously a problem with the tire already when they sent me away from the dealership.
