This was the quickest I have ever bought a vehicle. I called Lynn in the financial dept Saturday morning around 9, explaining my situation. At 5:50 that evening Mr. Palmer called me and by 8:15 I was called Lynn in the financial dept Saturday morning around 9, explaining my situation. Everyone that we met and helped in the purchase of our new vehicle were very kind and considerate. The financial person, Chris McCall was also great to work with. I have never had a bad experience with this bunch of people. I have followed them from Kingsport to Johnson City, Tennessee because they do what they say! That is very important to me. When asked from other people that I come in contact with, "Why I shop in Johnson City and not keep my money in Greeneville?" Champion Chevrolet - An excellent dealership in every regard. Firstly, Champion Chevrolet's selection of vehicles surpassed all others that I internet searched in an approximate 250 mile radius. Secon regard. Firstly, Champion Chevrolet's selection of vehicles surpassed all others that I internet searched in an approximate 250 mile radius. Secondly, they stated their price upfront. Thirdly, when contacted, my contact person (in my case David Palmer) responded promptly. When visiting this dealership I was welcomed, treated courteously, and my questions about my vehicle of interest were answered knowledgeably and negotiations were handled in a straight forward, respectful manner. At times, over the two weeks of my evaluation of the selected new vehicle (2011 Silverado), my sales rep may be away from the dealership. In those time, I interfaced with other salesmen and ALL sales personnel with whom I interfaced were VERY helpful and courteous. In addition to my experience with sales personnel regarding my recent new truck purchase (via trade in of my 2006 Silverado), I have dealt with service personnel for the past 18-24 months at Champion Chevrolet. Again, these service personnel are outstanding in their handling of my requests and vehicle's service needs. Jeff Carrier in the Service Dept. with whom I have dealt appox. half dozen times over the last 18-24 mos. has been First Class in service of my 2006 Silverado. Jeff is knowledgeable and extremely responsive regarding scheduling and technical follow through for all issues handled on my vehicle. I took delivery of my new 2011 Silverado this week and the transaction has gone flawlessly. This includes the result I have received in the Parts Dept. for obtaining my accessories purchased and then made available (seamlessly) to Champion's Service Dept. where (once again) Jeff has handled the installations superbly. With my experiences throughout Champion's dealership, I have complete confidence that the service technicians are equally skilled and dedicated given the way Champion handles their customers in Sales, Parts and Service. And indeed, my repairs/maintenance issues have been handled capably and fairly. This is the eleventh new vehicle I have purchased in the last 35 years. My first at this dealership. Bob Bays was friendly and professional from the time I first walked into the dealership, to the time I drove off of the lot in my new Camaro. Everyone in this area gets a kick out of the dealership commercial where the spokesman says the other dealers in the Tri-Cities always ask, "How do they do that!?" Salesman (David) responded to my chat request on their site. Provided useful information online. Met met at dealership and took time with me allowing me to drive several vehicles. The really nice thing was he gave me the full price, including all taxes and charges, before I met Chris, the finance person. Once I bought the vehicle, he took time to go over the various functions on the car. He explained everything carefully. I have bought many cars over the years and this dealership was the most consumer friendly of them all. He even gave me a tour of the service department. More
