Had an appointment and dropped off my 2018 Jeep Wrangler on 12/11/24 to get an estimate on some minor repairs (oil leak, timing chain being lose and break pads/rotors needing to be replaced) and they would on 12/11/24 to get an estimate on some minor repairs (oil leak, timing chain being lose and break pads/rotors needing to be replaced) and they would call me after looking at it with the estimate. We agreed there would be no costs unless it was agreed to in advance. I called multiple times over the next 2 weeks to get information. Each time someone was to call me back but instead I would have to follow up again - sometimes I was told my service advisor was just out of the office and would then find out he's actually on vacation (which would be fine but just tell me that). Eventually, after 2 weeks, and having to actually schedule a call days in advance to be able to speak with someone who could provide information, I was given an estimate totaling $4,480.42 including $1998.24 to replace the break pads and rotors (which should cost well under half that amount based on the quote I got from a Different Jeep dealership). I let them know to do no work and when I would pick it up. After waiting 45 minutes for my service advisor (who I was told was not even there) I was presented with an arbitrary bill that I hadn't agreed to for $241.33 (and which they knew was wrong as I even overhead them say, "I wonder how he's going to react to this" before giving it to me). I of course refused to pay that bill and was only told to "have a nice day" and given my keys after I mentioned possibly having to call the police. More

THE FACTORY COMPANY MAIL ME A RECALL ON MY JEEP CHEROKEE LADTUIDE I HAD 2 AND ONE OF THEM WAS MY LIFTGATE I REACH OUT TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND I SPOKEN TO MS. Liz SHE INFORMED ME AT THAT TIME THAT THE PARTS W LADTUIDE I HAD 2 AND ONE OF THEM WAS MY LIFTGATE I REACH OUT TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND I SPOKEN TO MS. Liz SHE INFORMED ME AT THAT TIME THAT THE PARTS WASN'T IN . AND A FEW MONTHS LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MS. LIZ AND SHE INFORMED ME THAT THE PART'S. WERE IN FOR MY JEEP SO I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT ON 8/20/2024 BUT I TOOK MY JEEP THERE ON 8/19/2024 EARLIER SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO RUSH MY VICHICLE 2 WEEKS HAD DONE PASS I WAS ONLY ABLE TO OPEN MY LIFTGATE ONE TIME AFTER BRINGING IT TO THIS DEALERSHIP SO I TOOK MY JEEP BACK THERE AND EXPLAINED THAT MY LIFTGATE WASN'T WORKING PRIOR TO ME BRINGING MY JEEP THERE I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY LIFTGATE SO WHEN I RETURNED TO THIS DEALERSHIP I WANTED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND I DID SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER OVER SERVICE AND EXPLAINED TO HIM WHAT HAPPENED HE TELLS ME THAT IT MIGHT BE SOMETHING ELSE WRONG WITH MY LIFTGATE THAT THEY GONNA HAVE TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE I SAID NO YOU NOT I RECEIVED A CARD IN THE MAIL ABOUT THE LIFTGATE WAS ON A RECALLED LIST AN I TOLD HIM THEY BETTER FIX MY LIFTGATE ARE THEY WILL BE HEARING FROM MY ATTORNEY THEY FIX IT BUT I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS DEALERSHIP EVER I KNOW IF I WAS WHITE THEY WOULDN'T WENT THROUGH WHAT I EXPERIENCE I DO NOT RECOMMENDED BRINGING YOUR VICHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP ESPECIALLY IF YOUR BLACK AND BOUGHT YOUR VICHICLE USED ARE HAVE ANY RECALLS ON IT. STAY AWAY from this service dept, worst experperience. Has taken 3-4 visits (losing track now) and somewhere around 9 months for warranty repair of Tonneau cover and key fob. Last visit left vehicle for 2 weeks and was not told repair not done. I drove off and later saw that Tonneau cover was still not repaired. The service rep never bothered to tell me that the part that had been in now was not, and I would need to return. Would this not be considered the very LEAST one should expect, to be informed repair was not done and let's try to get vehicle back? I assumed vehicle was repaired after 2 weeks in the service dept and nothing to the contrary said. Over a week ago I got a follow up call from customer service rep to ask about my experience. I told customer service the truth, disappointed and extremely unhappy. CS rep told me she would get back with me with an acceptable solution after she discussed the issue with my "service" rep. To date, crickets. Sadly, no longer surprised. Every time I drop my vehicle off and it does not get repaired I am deprived the utilization of my purchase and and I have to arrange for alternative transportation or waste money on taxis. If you do not have the luxury of spare vehicles nor mind your vehicle depreciating in Bergeron's service lot, then this may be OK. If this does not describe you, I would stay FAR AWAY from this dealership's service dept, as am I. More

Communication is poor. You never get a call back no matter how many messages you leave. Service is the worst I have seen. Then they won't even look at it to see if it's a safety issue, because they don't want to be burdened with keeping the car. So, they will let you drive an unsafe car because they don't want to be bothered. More

Do not take your vehicle to Bergeron Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on 3525 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie for service. The check engine light came on in my 2019 Ram 1500. I called and made an appointment for s Ram on 3525 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie for service. The check engine light came on in my 2019 Ram 1500. I called and made an appointment for service and was told the earliest available appointment was in 40 days. I made an appointment and brought my truck in for service on a Thursday, at that time the check engine light was not illuminated. Nevertheless, a service member using a code reader found that the vehicle was misfiring. At that time, I was told it would take up to three days to make the repairs. The following Monday I was informed that my truck was ready for pick up. Upon arriving at Bergeron, I was given a receipt for the services rendered and noticed that they had repaired the air dam and not addressed the misfire at all. I inquired about this oversight and was told the check engine light was not illuminated so there was nothing to fix. Notwithstanding that on Thursday, without an illuminated check engine light, the code reader reported a misfire. Within two days the check engine light reilluminated, and the misfire resumed. I returned to Bergeron that Thursday and informed the service department that the original problem they diagnosed (and did not fix) had resumed. The same service employee I originally dropped my truck off with told me that the “engine guy” would not be there until Monday and to return the vehicle to Bergeron then to have it serviced. I returned my truck to Bergeron that Monday and requested a courtesy car because I had to return it due to their oversight. I was told by service staff that they did not have any courtesy cars available, despite having 2-3 courtesy cars parked directly next to the service entrance! I called multiple times throughout the week to check on the progress of the repairs and to check on the status of my courtesy car request. Each time I was told that there had been no progress and that Bergeron still did not have any courtesy cars available. And get this, on Wednesday, a service member told me that they had changed the oil in my truck in an effort to fix the misfire!! In what world would an oil change fix a misfire??? Despite that, I was over 600 miles from needing an oil change. On Thursday a service member informed me that my truck had been “assigned” to a technician and that they would know something Friday morning. By this point Bergeron had had my truck for almost two weeks and had yet to address the original issue. During this time, I was forced to rent two cars and take multiple rideshare trips at an expense of nearly $1,000. I went back to Bergeron on Friday hoping that my truck would at least be in the repair bay but found it parked in the exact same place it was on Monday. But here is the kicker. I went inside Bergeron to request my truck back and the inside service staff did not ask one question! They said OK we will bring it around. They were absolutely unconcerned with the quality of their service or the inconvenience they caused me. The outside service member (the same guy who I brought my truck to the previous week and the current week) drove it over, hopped out, and said the keys were in it and walked off!!! Again, absolutely unconcerned with the quality of their service or the inconvenience they caused me. Moreover, there were two courtesy cars parked by the service center and I have serious doubts that they even changed the oil!! Do not take your car for service to Bergeron. And in my opinion, if you cannot take your car for service to a dealership, you should not buy from them either. More
