The next day I call parts to ask Late May I bought a new car from Serremonte Ford. The sales person was Jahy Isip. I bought the car at 15K mark up. The next day I call parts to ask about how much it would cost to buy the Handling Package parts for my new car. Parts informs me as an aside, that my car arrived missing its front splitter from the factory. This was not brought to my attention when I bought it and was not on my Due Slip. That was bad. I contacted Jahy Isip who said he would send me a new Due Bill which he did the next day. So now I have a car missing parts and dealer a few hundred miles away… The splitter arrived 8 weeks later and Serremonte Ford gave me the option to come into their dealership and install it (600 miles round trip) or send it to me. I chose to have them send it to me. I contacted a local Ford dealership about installing the splitter for me. The local dealership said they’d need Serremonte Ford to pay for it (2 hours labor). I contacted Serremonte Ford and spoke to Ching Chou who said he would not pay for the install and that the “only way this was going to get installed is if [you] bring the car and part to Serremonte Ford… Ford only paid us $40 to install that part and we aren’t going to pay for anyone else to do it for you”. I told Mr. Chou that their dealership: 1. Sold me a car missing parts without informing me. 2. Taken the money from Ford to do the install and did not do it. 3. Likely violated Lemon Law. 4. Was forcing me to make a great inconvenience to only be able to do the work with them or bear the expense. 5. Had charged me a 15k markup and now was nickel and dining me about something they never disclosed till after I purchased the car. The conversation then evolved into Mr Chou saying he was the final word when I asked to speak to his manager, Matt Shone. Finally after some unprofessional exchanges from Mr. Chou he said he would escalate to Mr. Shone. I now await for Mr. Shone to do the right thing and pay my local dealership to install the splitter. Thanks In advance Mr. Shone. More

For such a big dealership it was a chill experience and the staff seems to be a bunch of friends. I had to ask a ton of questions but Tin walked me thru it and I ended up with a great deal. the staff seems to be a bunch of friends. We expressed what was interesting is, and once the pieces came together, it was almost impossible to say now. Not because we were sold but because everything we asked for was researched and found. Great experience overall, thank you David Martin at Serramonte Ford! More

Worst Car Buying Experience of Our Lives RUN DON’T WALK to any of the Bay Area Ford dealerships EXCEPT THIS ONE. After our experience, I would not wish this place on anyone, so think twice a RUN DON’T WALK to any of the Bay Area Ford dealerships EXCEPT THIS ONE. After our experience, I would not wish this place on anyone, so think twice about making a deal at Serramonte. Our story describes the most appalling and disappointing vehicle purchasing experience we have ever had. Our son is a Mustang man. He has owned his 2008 GT since High School and is now decided to upgrade and buy a newer model. Since he lives and breathes Mustangs, there are details and amenities that he insists upon with the new one, including a manual transmission. Saturday night, Pete indicated that he had found the “car of his dreams” on his way home from a trip to Santa Cruz. The car was perfect. The trade-in offered was agreeable and things looked promising. The said car was in Colma at Serramonte Ford and we agreed to drive to Serramonte Ford the following morning from our home in Lodi to support his decision and co-sign for him. An appointment was set up for 10AM the next day. We readied for the two hour trip. When we arrived at Serramonte Ford, we immediately set to work as a team; visually inspecting, driving, admiring and readying ourselves to help seal the deal. Jon, the salesman seemed a likable fellow. Faye was nice too. Our own part was to support and serve as co-signer for our son as he initiated making his first big automotive purchase. For all three of us, this was a milestone. Although there were a few minor fixes needed with the car, it was agreed that they were not major enough to break the deal and the decision moved forward very quickly. These “fixes” included curb rash on the right front wheel, a flawed right front tire, and finally, a small cosmetic bubble in the paint of the hood. These were asked about and each time Ching was brought out to consult and confirm the requests. His responses were mostly surly and unwilling. When we sat down to gather information and initiate the financing, the process continued to move forward. Credit was checked. Jon scurried back and forth to the finance officer or to Ching with questions or confirmations. Finally, the finance officer came over and indicated that he was going to need a photo of the actual Social Security card of our son. Because we did not have the actual card WITH us, it was agreed that our son would drive back to Lodi, get the card and immediately text a photo of the card to the finance officer. We decided to stay in Colma and shop at the mall until our son returned from this quick trip home. As he walked out of the showroom, he turned to the salesperson and said, “Now, you won’t sell this car, will you?” The answer was, “No, it’ll be here.” We all left, indicating the we would all return to finish it all up. And we left. Two hours later, our son called and told us that he had gotten the card, sent it via text to the dealership and was on his way back to Serramonte. A few minutes later, he called and said that the dealership called back and also requested a pay stub so he went back for that. We were just waiting for our son to return to Colma when he again called and said, “You won’t believe this. The dealership just called and said they sold the car.” My wife and I returned to the dealership. Ching had vanished. The financier threw a “sorry it didn’t work out” apology in our direction and we were beside ourselves with disappointment and anger. Jon was with a customer. I called my son and told him we were coming home. I poured out my story to floor manager Daniel and he tried mightily to rectify, but there were no other deals or cars like this one. The financier also stated that “we didn’t promise to hold that car.” It was stated that this was a “first served” basis. But WE WERE FIRST, and well, They sold the car right out from under us, with very little regret. It was simply awful. More

To start, Sohail Tabar, the GM thoroughly helped me with an issue I experienced resolved it with the my interests in mind. Mr. Tabar and his sales team worked with me to find a great deal on my brand new F-150. Jason Rowan and David Martin of internet sales were a great combination of competent and likeable and knew everything there was to know about Fords truck models. Jason and I corrdinated via telephone and answered each and every one of my questions with the level of care and attention you would hope for in a salesman. Upon arrival, David introduced me to the truck, providing me with everything there is to know about it and what makes it so great. David’s product knowledge, integrity and sense of humor was critical to build trust with Serramonte Ford and in my overall decision to purchase the truck. I then met with the finance manager, Moe Gharib had a great personality and handled the signing process efficiently. Overall, Serramonte Fords team is trust worthy, honest and have gained themselves a forever customer. More
