Went to bed at 7 pm thinking we had a deal on a Mazda. Woke up at 9 the next morning and was told it was sold. I'd suggest anyone who's ever had issues with this dealer lodge a complaint with the Missouri Woke up at 9 the next morning and was told it was sold. DO NOT buy a car from this place. My brand-new car came with multiple cosmetic defects: a rock chip on the hood, another on the front bumper, deep scratches on the black pillar My brand-new car came with multiple cosmetic defects: a rock chip on the hood, another on the front bumper, deep scratches on the black pillar of the driver’s door, white scratches behind the door handle, and what appears to be poor paintwork on the driver-side fender. Completely unacceptable. I paid for a new car, not one that looks used. There were two of the same model in stock. I intentionally chose the one shown online with plastic still on the interior, assuming it was untouched. I was told the other had been test-driven for two hours. But based on the condition of the one I received, it’s clear this was the driven one. When I asked about the mileage and requested to see the other unit, the sales rep, Cheryl, insisted this one was “better” and dismissed my questions. I now believe I was misled so they could get rid of this specific car. Even during the signing process, things felt shady. I noticed the paperwork listed the car as having 17 miles, but when I checked the odometer, it actually had 40. When I pointed this out, the finance guy brushed it off and said, “Just sign it to speed things up—don’t make this more difficult than it needs to be.” That response made it clear they weren’t interested in transparency or fairness—just pushing the deal through. During a phone call with Cheryl, she begged me not to leave a bad review, which was completely unprofessional and desperate. A good review is earned, not begged for. She also lied and claimed the car had an auto-dimming rearview mirror—it clearly doesn’t. When I complained, they told me to drive 45–50 minutes back to the dealership so the sales team and a scratch repair tech could inspect the damage. That’s gas, miles, and time wasted on a problem they should’ve addressed before delivery. I even sent clear, detailed photos to Cheryl, but they offered no meaningful reassurance or accommodation. If they were serious about fixing the issue, they would’ve at least offered to refill my gas tank—but they didn’t. They said the service department would inspect the damage, but based on the service department’s poor reviews, I fully expected them to downplay it or brush it off entirely. Bottom line: this dealership is dishonest, unprofessional, and only cares about closing a sale. Avoid them at all costs. More
