As a business owner with zero free time, Cassie did everything possible to make it an easy transaction. The Finance team cannot get the same type of praise but I do not blame the associates. It appears the incentives for extended warranty sales are too much of their overall compensation. When you decline it, they can get emotional and upset that their sales pitch failed. And when they lean hard into the scenario that the customer just potentially bought a lemon from the dealership, it erodes any sense of confidence in the purchase. More
