Crazy upselling, overcharging and poor service here. I had bought the 3 year oil change service which seemed like a good thing at the time. Next is when I got a quote from Cara, she told me my oil filte I had bought the 3 year oil change service which seemed like a good thing at the time. Next is when I got a quote from Cara, she told me my oil filter housing was leaking "massively" and that it would be $2,850 to have it replaced. Obviously needing a second opinion since this seemed excessive, New Country MINI then quoted me a much more reasonable $2,332.05 for the exact same job. Then upon full inspection, they told me that the battery's positive terminal had been left loose by Fairfield which had fried the DME Module and that the oil drain plug had shoddily been put back on and was leaking oil.... Having spent some time working in dealerships I know this is a 100% unacceptable way to provide service and will take my business elsewhere going forward. More

Difficult to get an appointment-waited more than a week & that’s w/o a loaner. Sky high prices & relentless upselling from Cara, the service writer. An oil change, front brake job, cabin micro filter, br that’s w/o a loaner. Sky high prices & relentless upselling from Cara, the service writer. An oil change, front brake job, cabin micro filter, brake fluid flush & coolant flush (the last 2 are of dubious merit) was $1963. This also included $189 for a “CBS system check”. Given that their labor rate on the invoice was $165, I was charged for 68 minutes for something that should take less than 10 minutes. I’m a former mechanic, so I actually know what I’m talking about. I won’t be back, an independent shop must be able to do better than this… More
