Easy to will with Took care of car issue Called in--check engine light came on the day After I purchased. Took it to auto zone for DTC...something about EVAP pump...light went off after test but came back on engine light came on the day After I purchased. Took it to auto zone for DTC...something about EVAP pump...light went off after test but came back on within a few miles Went back to auto zone--same thing. Again light went Off but came back on. Called Legacy for appointment. In the interim, I read the car manual and other advice was to disconnect negative from battery which my son did on Christmas Day. Light went off Went for appointment at Legacy on Friday 12/26 with NO light on. Told service what happened and the codes showed something about EVAP pump and she said she scanned with no problem indicated and without any codes, she would have to keep the car which may be a cost to me--SO naturally, I took the car home. The light came back on that afternoon. I called Chelsea to tell her this and another appointment was given Was told not to clear light. The car sat in my garage until today. Took the car in and the EVAP purge pump was changed. I live in Raceland and traveled 3 times back to Legacy to get warranty work done. I feel that if someone would have listened to me...the problem would have been taken care of the first trip. More
