I thought that slippery and deceptive sales tactics were reserved for low-level, fly by night used car dealers. Apparently, this extends to franchised dealerships as well. Or did it coincidentally fly off their lot in the minutes that Burlington Chevrolet’s manager, Brian, thought I wouldn’t make it. Were they going to let me come out just to say it’s been sold, all while telling customers it was available, knowing I was coming to see it? Very unscrupulous and deceptive. Brian’s response which immediately shifted to a “we” response, indicates that he was well aware that I was wise to his manipulative sales tactic. More
