This is a great dealership. I worked with Brian to purchase my M3 competition and he went above and beyond to get me what I wanted. I would actually recommend that people DON’T go to BMW of Salem. The cars themselves are amazing but the service and my experience making my purchase was awful. I’ve received better service and have been tre Salem. The cars themselves are amazing but the service and my experience making my purchase was awful. I’ve received better service and have been treated better buying a $400 washing machine, let alone a $43k+ car. The salesman (Brian) started off treating me well and then as we began to engage on the details of the purchase after my test drive he became very condescending and negatively sarcastic towards me and the questions I was asking him. This is not at all the experience I was hoping I would experiencing while purchasing my first BMW. The finance manager (Jerome) was very nice and helpful throughout the closing of the deal but then I called him a few days later to clarify a few questions I had, and my experience was completely different. He didn’t respond back that day so I had to call him back to answer my questions. When we spoke his niceness and demeanor changed from when we closed on the vehicle. I never received a follow-up call from the salesman or anybody at the dealership to see if I had any questions or to see how things were going. I’m not sure if that’s a standard practice but it would have shown that the dealer actually cares about their customers and their experience/satisfaction. Long story short, I feel like the dealership was only concerned with getting through the point of sale and that all the fake positive service stopped as soon as I drove off of the lot. I would recommend that anybody that wants a BMW go to another dealership that has better ratings and provide them with the business. Or have another dealer get you whatever car you maybe interested in that maybe at BMW of Salem. Oh and I forgot to mention that the CPO car was listed on their website to have 9,523 miles and when I got to the dealership to check it out it actually had 14,570. A bunch of questionable business practices stacked on top of each other. Good luck with your experience somewhere else. More
