I brought my 2024 Honda Pilot in for three recalls and asked the service team to inspect a strange whistling-cricket noise that occurred when lightly pressing the gas pedal at certain speeds. This was a c asked the service team to inspect a strange whistling-cricket noise that occurred when lightly pressing the gas pedal at certain speeds. This was a challenging endeavor as it is a very strange and uncommon issue that is challenging to diagnose. The service team communicated with many higher-ups and field techs, and those higher-ups classified this as a normal characteristic. A different dealership went through similar steps, and their higher-ups discovered it was the transmission. It has yet to be replaced, so whether or not that fixes the issue is unknown at the moment. Upon learning this information, I called and spoke to Jason. Jason was very interested in the matter and was open to learning as much as he could about it. He was very understanding and offered me to keep in touch with him as we learn more about the issue. Jason and I were able to establish (what I believe to be) a trusting, working relationship. In addition, Brandon was very communicative along the way and seemed enthusiastic to taking on this challenge. I look forward to any future endeavors I may have with Curry Honda! More
