When I arrived on Friday May 16, 2025 I was surprised at how busy the waiting area was. I was greeted by the receptionist within a minute or so of arriving. She let me know the next available sales agent wo how busy the waiting area was. I was greeted by the receptionist within a minute or so of arriving. She let me know the next available sales agent would help me. My sales associate was Hayley. I would say I had to wait maybe 5 minutes before she came out. She greeted me with a genuine smile and made me feel at home. When I let her know the 2 specific vehicles that I wanted to look at a 2025 Envision and a 2025 Encore GX she gladly assisted me and took time to explain how each system's park, reverse, drive and neutral worked. This was especially necessary because of the Envision's switch to a column mounted gear shifter. After test driving both I asked to see potential numbers for them and realizing that I had to exclude the new Envision to stay within budget I found a preowned Envision in the same burnt orange color that the Encore GX was in (I had fallen in love with this color) that I wanted to test drive as well. It had significantly more miles (due to being preowned) so I wanted to make sure it drove okay and felt right. Hayley didn't show any discontent, annoyance or frustration when I asked to test drive yet another vehicle she instead smiled and let me know she would get it pulled right around for me. Fast forward to the deal itself- it was done in about 15-20 minutes after my credit was pulled. Hayley let me know about protection plans and I ended up selecting the platinum protection plan. After everything was signed she walked me to my new car and showed me around all of the tech, assisting me with carplay setup, and my safety features. She also let me know that my first oil change was free. Up to this point my experience was amazing and I was singing Rivard's praises due to Hayley's care and kindness. About a week later I receive a call from an unfamiliar number and after checking my voicemail and confirming with the dealership that Troy worked there I returned the call and also sent a text. I was out of town at my cousin's funeral which was already sad and frustrating because his funeral occurred during my birthday weekend (my bday is 5/26) so my previous plans for that weekend were cancelled to bury him, on top of that Troy was reaching out because the lender who had already given me the "approval" call on Monday was trying to back out because they were unaware that I had another vehicle. Troy let me know they would try to work it out and apologized for reaching out due to the stress of that weekend. On the morning of my birthday Troy reached out and said I would need to bring the car back. No other options were given to me just a request for "our car" to be returned. When I explained I didn't understand what he meant and pointed out that the contract does not provide a seller's right to cancel due to all spots were filled in with "not applicable" and there were no signatures. I had a family member who is a paralegal review it just to make sure and they also advised that due to that clause the car could not be demanded back. Troy's response indicated this was not true and that if my new car was not brought back they would take it back and that this was not the birthday gift he wished to give me. At this point I advised that I would be in the next day. When I arrived with my fiancé Troy explained in more detail and seemed a lot kinder than the text messages received. We discussed options and ended up revising the sale (this time the seller's right to cancel was filled in and I had to sign). All in all the only thing that I would advise is to discourage the associate's from texting. Troy's tone via text seemed cold but when I met him in person he was kind and determined to work out something. I would still highly recommend Rivard Buick to everyone and already have a few friends with better credit than mines who will be shopping in the near future with Hayley. More

My experience with Brandon Coratti was excellent. He was very helpful in describing and showing the GMC Serra EV, which I ended up buying. There is so much to learn about the new vehicle. The new to you car market is always challenging. I found the selection at Rivard GMC, to be drive away ready. The quantity and quality are heads above the competition. My salesman, Brandon was first I found the selection at Rivard GMC, to be drive away ready. The quantity and quality are heads above the competition. My salesman, Brandon was first class, the complete buying process once you make your selection can be completed under 2 hours if financing, or an hour if not. Brandon was with us throughout, we were never handed off to someone else. We started with a greeting handshake and ended with a thank you handshake along with the keys. Stop in and experience it for your self, even if you are just starting to look, that way you will know how car buying should be conducted. More

I wish I could update a previous review, but I can’t, so I will do a new one to say that, I was wrong in my initial impressions of this dealership. The team came to the table and made everything right. It I will do a new one to say that, I was wrong in my initial impressions of this dealership.
