I purchases a rather expensive used car on Saturday. The sales rep, Jon and the finance mgr. were great to deal with. The car needed to be detailed and clean before we took it home Saturday night. The car's finish also needed to be polished and buffed. They said they could do the detail on Saturday night but I agreed to return Monday am to get the car's finish taken care of. I think the car delivery departments expectation are absolutely the worse. They said the car was detailed. They might have swiped a rag on the car, but if that is a car detail, I would hate to see what just a wash would be. The front window was even cleaned. I mentioned regarding the poor detail to my contact on Monday am and also reiterated, they needed to polish and buff the car's finish. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours they returned the car, They nothing to improve the detail issues from Saturday and the I think the guy the dealer sub contracted the work out to just ripped off the dealer for a poor job. He might have done the front hood but not the rear of the car. When I went out to get into the car I took my hand across the rear of the car and got black dust on my hand and the finish still felt gritty, The guy, Cory, never did the back of the car. I tried to get him so I could show him and he said he other things to do and quickly left. I mentioned the issue to the General Sales Manager and he asked somebody to check it out and I am not sure either of them looked at the car. I didn't see them check the car out since I had to see the finance manager for a minute and by the time I came out, they were gone. I will avoid using this dealer for future service on this car. They seem to have low expectations of what qualifies as excellent service and making sure the customer is satisfied. More
