Worst vehicle buying experience ever! I'm sure that I don't have the room here to explain how bad buying from Paramount Ford was. I arrived there around 2:30PM just looking around, I found I'm sure that I don't have the room here to explain how bad buying from Paramount Ford was. I arrived there around 2:30PM just looking around, I found a 2013 ford F350 with an asking price of $33,000 with a 145,000 miles on it that I was interested in. It was missing the floor matts and it has scratches and dents, but i didn't mind, I intend on using it as a truck. I was told I would receive a new set of floor matts and they would call when they came in. Being this is a large dealership i thought that they would be right on target with their asking prices for a used vehicle. Boy was I wrong! My trade in was a 2013 Chevy Rocky Ridge without even a scratch on it that at 8 months prior I gave $29,000 for. They offered $16,000 for my truck😡!!!! After my refusal and them holding my keys hostage for several hours I agreed to 20,000 for my trade. That left me with 6,000 negative equity right off😖. Its almost 5PM at this point and i just want to trade and go. The Manger comes out with an approval and finally ready to sign papers and be on my way. So i'm off to see they next guy to close the deal. I start signing and the balance owed continues to climb. GAP insurance added at a cost should have been my clue to demand my keys be returned to me and i wouldn't be writing this review. After all of the paper signing its 6:30PM i'm on my way home $43,000 dollars in debt with the truck. I work 12hours a day 6 days a week so my time is very valuable, so it took a few days before I had the time to do a little research on this truck just to see how things function, hp, torque, tow capacity things like that. So I decide to look at the KBB value🤦???😖. KBB value is not even $25'000, ouch😡🤬, it's a done deal, nothing i can do. I get out my paperwork, the truck was financed for 8 years at around 650 a month😣🤬, a total after final payment, 53,000🤯. How was this even approved through finance? My credit score was excellent, WAS! I started receiving credit app denial letters daily stating the vehicle was not worth what the dealership was trying to get approved, I did not know that they were doing this, 16 so far🤬😡. A few weeks go by i get an email that my floor matts arrived. I stop by on my way to work to pick them up, they were they cheapest things that Big Lots wouldn't even carry in their store. I told him to shove them and walked out. I sent an email that evening stating i would purchase my own matts and that i would be posting a bad review and filing a complaint. I received an email back 2 hours later stating a set of weather tech floor matts were ordered, that was almost 2 weeks ago. I have other issues but don't have room here for it all. I'm done with that place and I'm stuck with a 25,000 53,000 dollar truck. I'm 50 years old, i hate writing this but i really hate that this has been the worst mistake of my life. Do not do business here! More
